Wow what a great use of space. If you wanted to give the “man of the house” more room maybe think about moving your bed on the wall with leaves(or the opposite ) you could give him 1/2 the room for apt B 😂. I absolutely love that living room and Blue’s apartment.

Suggestion: get some small totes for the area in your closet on top. But, turn them facing out open to you, so you can layer your clothes. It will be easy to find and put laundered items back

I highly recommend you go. I was there for a year and a half. I'm in California now. I'm working on going back for good by the end of this year. I loved it there. Do you take orders for your rugs? Don't move to California. It's crazy expensive here and it keeps going up.y brother pays over $1,500 for a one bedroom. No washer or dryer, no balcony 😢. You apt reminds me of the apt I had in East Point, Ga. It was beautiful and it was brand new. I was the first person to live in it.

I'm still in Indy however I'm planning on relocating to Nashville in the fall. There's better weather and the cost of living is equivalent. Initially I wanted to go to Lake Havasu City AZ or Vegas😢 but baybee, the cost was prohibitive. It would've cost me $5500 just to get my furniture and clothing there (Pods) plus airfare. Then another $4500 for rent & deposit. 6.5hr flight + 2:20 drive from airport 😲 VS $3000 total to move to TN.... 4:15 drive time. No brainer!

I had to sell all my stuff moving cause the value of my things wasn’t worth the value to transport 🤣. But that’s a great idea to move somewhere more feasible! I'm not sure where in Indiana but here in Indy we've not had either super cold or snow for the last two years. If you get north of here then you are going to have colder weather like 10 degrees colder and 3 or 4 snows of about 5 inches but that's because of the weather coming down from Chicago. I live Keystone at the crossing on the north side and I pay 780.00 for 500 sw ft. 1 bedroom and 1 bath apt. I have plenty of room but I'm an interior designer so I use a ton of my vertical space. I also have plenty of storage and a big kitchen and bathroom. I have no patio and have a washer dryer right downstairs. Cost of living has gone up here since covid and the are building tons of apts. But they are small 1 br 1 bath about 1000. Real estate is slow here. But there is so much to do and now the Pacers are doing great and Caitlin Clark is here now so Wnba is hot. Volts should be super good this year as the new QB is back from injury.

Thank you so much! I looked on “apartments” app and filtered all my needs for budget and commute to work. I read a LOT of reviews on yelp! And google. The one i found had 97% reccomendations, no bugs, no tow, normal neighbors. So reviews helped a ton! I think a lot of people leave only negative reviews so you definitely have to use judgement haha
