I loved this series from Rockford. The smaller amp from this line was an absolute beast as well. I think it was rated 75x2 but did so much more

I have owned the 2,3, and 4k like this amp. 2k was my favorite. It did rated 2k at 1.8 ohms. Just a tank. I smoked my 4k once. The amp didnt seem happy wired to 1 ohm.

I had the 4k, they sucked a lot of amperage! I used to run mine @ 2.8 ohms daily, & wire down to .7 of an ohm, for SPL runs.! I had 5 batteries in back, and 1 up front. Another competitor used to wire his Rf 4000, down to .35 of an ohm, for test tone, burps! You might have smoked your 4k, because you didn't have enough batteries?
@stevepartridge752 ай бұрын
@evilinside5984 no. I had 6 hc2400 batteries and a ohio gen 240 amp alt. The amp just seemed stressed at 1 ohm. Got hot easy too.

Hey mate. What would you get, active rockford 12” p500 or active audison 10. Will run on helix dsp

Me personally I’d look for a hertz active they are a lot nicer sounding and better build but each to their own
