those were black and they turned grey. the grey ones were lighter than that.

I think they started cutting corners a bit even BEFORE they started outsourcing, to address the other 505 vid without going back and all that. The blank tags and such and moving tags around and different things. I never found anybody who would buy MY old pants with the crotch blown out, so I guess I wasn't looking hard enough because threw away plenty dozens over the years or whatever................... I never knew them to shrink all that much in a drier, either. Maybe a bit at first, and then they'd relax right back out and wear them for two or three days if doing nothing strenuous, anyway, etc.

I think I can find them new for less than $80, though. Not sure how much spandex or whatever they have in them now.

They get distressed like that mostly from machine drying, I assume, which you don't do?
