Fun fact update: The radio/cell tower at the 3:47 mark got taken down by a tornado the weekend before Easter in 2018... I don't know if it has since been rebuilt...

Interesting! Looks like microwave dishes on the tower for line-of-sight radio communications. Probably belongs to the power company that has the electrical substation there. I don't know if that technology is completely obsolete now, or what, but it may not be necessary anymore.

Richard Felstead 504 is the local telephone area code for the New Orleans area. At one time, it covered half of Louisiana. Obviously, we’ve expanded outside of that area!

No, I don't believe we did at any point on this trip. We had a destination, and a time frame, so we didn't go out of our way to get any video. These weren't even originally intended to be published, but I was so impressed with the roads in Texas that I decided to upload them.
