US Highway video series like this one of US 61 gives us a plethora of different road experiences, more so than Interstate highway series. We’ve experienced lonely 2-lane roads through sparsely populated places and tiny towns, 4-lane expressways, freeways, sparsely traveled roads whose congestion parallel freeways actually relieved, suburban boulevards, urban streets, and failed bypasses. We’ve seen it all in this US-61 series. And, in that entire stretch, we have seen the Blues Highway duplexed with Interstates only 7 times for a total of only 85 miles! What variety!
