Gday alex i was washing my beewee 100 barrell under the kitchen sink after some minor port adjustments and realized how good it is to see water flow through the inlet tranfer ports into the cylinder. Its a great visual representation of how critical the angles and flow directions are.
@2STROKESTUFFING7 жыл бұрын
+gravelyeti gravelyeti Yeah, that's how I do it too! Take your results with a grain of salt though, constant flow of water is quite different to pulsating flow of somewhat homogeneous air/fuel mix.

Can't wait, man; This one will hold together, I have faith! You put all of this time into having the utmost precision, CAD models, powerpulse calculations, ignition maps....but no wideband! At least you can run Nitrometh rich / fat as all hell, and make more power while doing so. I think it actually doesn't matter how rich because it technically has it's own oxygen to burn (or...detonate, really). I've heard 3:1, up to 0.5:1. So you have that going for you. One thing I wanted you to know if you didn't already, and this came from an old Top Fuel racer I know: Apparently high specific output engines, don't like to be ran cold on Nitrometh. As you know, the fuel itself sucks a shitload of heat out the block, and assuming you are at the correct AFRs, it can hydrolock if there isn't enough heat from start. You sound like you are from...Finland, Denmark, maybe Sweden, I'm not sure; but I bet it's cold. Food for thought, best of luck man. -Pepe

I've had my fair share with mopeds / scooters, But we only putted like 70cc aluminium cylinders on our Minarelli horizontal blocks and of course change cranks that stuff, But your stuff is fascinating man! I watched your Aprilia SR50 ratrod scooter video, and funny enough I still own my Aprilia SR 2000 (the pre comer of that) It has a Minarelli Horizontal with just a 50cc (since were only allowed 49.9cc due to laws) with a Stage 6 exhaust overrange and a polini speed control variateur and it hooks up pretty good :) top speed of around 80 which is about 30 over whats allowed :P
