Hi Greg, can you share what travel agency you employed to go to Mruak-U please? I like the quality of the boat on Kaladan river. It looked quite convenient for the 6-hour cruise to Mruak-U. Another questions, I saw you shot some novices inside their residence. What is that temple name? Thanks a lot for your advice in advance. Chaiyot

There are three ways to go from Sittwe to Mrauk U by boat: small speedboats (expensive but fast), medium diesel boats (like ours), and the large gov't-operated ferry (cheap but slow). You could probably make boat arrangements at the dock, or go through any travel agency that covers Rakhine. I can recommend Myanmar Frangipani Tours ([e-mail]). Not positive about the monastery, but most likely Mahabandoola Monastery.
