50mm f/1.8 on Full Frame vs APS-C (a7iii vs a6100)

They say that full frame is the way to go if you're shooting portraits, so I put this theory to the test. In this video, I shoot portraits with the Sony a7iii and the Sony a6100, both with their own 50mm f/1.8 portrait lenses, to see the differences, if any, between the two. What do you think? Which one looks better?

Great vid I thought there would be a lot more noticeable difference in the bokeh too. Cause I heard on Sonys you still would have to 1.8x1.5 for the actually f/. It’s not too bad a difference for the cost savings on the camera

great video, I thought we get more bokeh on full frame, but I see no noticeable different. but I prefer full frame because I have more room to comp my shot

Same! I do think some of it is that the 50mm on APS-C is a 75mm equivalent. I'd be interested to see a 50mm f/1.8 on full frame versus something like a 35mm f/1.8 on APS-C
