Thanks, WIlgus! I appreciate the kind comments, as always. Yeah, as far as newer bird molds I'd probably rate the owl more highly, but in spite of the flawed perch design I still think Echo Blaster is a _really_ good figure. I mean, if you look at the other figs that were released around the same time, this one was absolutely an evolution of the Beastbox line. Just got a Blossom a week ago, and I'll probably review that one sooner or later, also.

@@XMattingly even though i love the owls figures, i still think ecoblaster(and its repaints) are probably my favorite beastboxes ever, 1. because its how i got into beastboxes(it was my first beastbox), and 2. i just LOVE birds, and this figure is so close to looking like an actual bird, and i just LOVE how they did the wings, the 52toys people are geniuses when it comes to making these designs and engineering, hasbro needs to take some lessons and notes from 52toys

@@unknownunknown-cd7rx Haha, agreed - Hasbro is on notice. 😁 I also like the parrot mold better than the owl; its overall shape and proportions really do look like a neat little bird. And I also really dig the fact that its wings are a very prominent part of its cube mode. It's that overall style of how the animal is really well represented as a box, which 52Toys has gotten away from more recently, unfortunately.

Thanks, I appreciate that! The first bird(s) was BB-08 IceQube -- they're a set of penguins. I believe White Noise came out last year; that one is typically regarded very highly among collectors.

I’m having trouble with the legs

@@jk-fe7hb If you watch carefully, I show you how to do it in this video; it’s not too hard. You just need the exposed part of the thigh joint facing up, with the legs rotated sideways and the back of the knees tucked against the front of the body.
