I do have one bone of contention with these cars and that's that the hinges don't want to fit into the holes made for them. Maybe it's simply due to me lacking the correct fine tooling needed to attach them. But I've already broken one of the hinges and I bent enother near the point of breaking. Otherwise, these are fantastic cars and I can't wait to fully assemble them and run long Z trains

I found that carefully burnishing the hole with a wooden skewer helped mine fit better!

I bought these in N scale and they are a fabulous kit and I heard they were built from BLM Models excellent products that they make

Nice vid. Would like to know how to get those truck cradles off without damaging anything? Well, grip the truck on each side with one hand from the top of the car, being careful not to apply any pressure to any of the delicate details. Twist the cradle with your other hand gently along both the long axis and side to side. It should just pop off.

Need to add that they run flawlessly. I have run both sets (3 car and 5 car) and both loaded with 53' containers and empty over my club's layout with no problems at all.

Ah yes. Easy to release good looking stuff when you buy them. These are BLMA tooled, they just needed to keep the mill running. They changed the box a bit. Atleast we can still get them

I'm delving into N scale for the first time. I have a number of spine cars in HO with loads. It's expensive to outfit in HO, but nothing like this! Just one 5 pack of those with loads would run upwards of $250 or more? Think I'll stick to well cars and manifest freight.

No. This are old BLMA tooled cars. All the BLMA cars are sold with MTL couplers

Geez..$200.00 for the decorated ones? I mean they are beautifully detailed cars and they look terrific and run well I'm sure but that's a budget breaker.i'm sure that's MSRP but there still gonna cost out of my budget!
