every time i see the big sleeper I wish i could still be behind the wheel. i remember going from an 86 inch 36 inch bunk, then a 110 inch cab 60 inch bunk, 12 volt cooler, big water jug, tv and in my day that was a well set up day, I really enjoy your videos,pull toy here

Mr Dan, I'm guessing that you can deduct the cost of fuel when you are doing your tax returns. If so, does it really matter what you pay? Though of course it's good to support the truck stops that offer cheaper fuel. I have relatives in Arizona, and have visited about 6 times. I even bought a book in Benson. Greeting from Scotland.

I remember back in the day when I was pulling a reefer loading to the max weight and then figuring just how much fuel I could have before crossing any scales! I was pretty good at it, well you had to be or it was going to cost your a$$! I do remember that a few places that I had to find me a way around the scales because I would not figure things right! Once in CO. especially. Good thing those officers were easy going back then!

Why would he? He’s already said he wont be. Forget the $$ cost, think rationally about the weight cost. He’s already a little limited based on the extra weight of the new truck.

If he filled all 4 fuel tanks he said before that would be around 400US gallons. That's alot of fuel. Most American sleeper trucks only hold about 200galllons and you can travel about 1,200 miles on that amount of fuel

Hey Dan, There are self adhesive sound damping sheets available at most auto parts stores. just clean the Kenny cover and attached to the most of that sound will go away. hope this help stay out of reffer parking spots , John

Hey Dan there is a hose connector called a water thief or water bandit, they work for striped out hose bibs or special bibs. Eventually you’ll run into a hose bib where you’ll need it. You can get one on Amazon or rv dealers.

They actually suck on the singles.....i pulled them out of my truck after 1 week. LED IS BRIGHT to look at...shows up road signs well at distance....put i hate the narrow beam running thru the woods....dont see the animals and other stuff. Love them on the bike...hate them in the truck.....maybe driving lights..

You should get jw speaker they are amazing I have same lights in my 9900ix international and got them 3 years ago highly recommend heated version they do not blind others and lifetime warranty they will not disappoint

You should have got the Hella H4 halogen headlights for that bad boy. I love mine. They have the cats eye lens that lights up the signs really nice from a distance and it is much brighter than the stock ones. I don’t like the LED style cause it just puts light everywhere except where you want it and blinds oncoming traffic.

Hey Dan. Its nice to be able to take on 5 or 6 hundred gallons of fuel when its cheap. Burn off some before a heavy reload and stoll have enough to do it again. Does Knox big red diesel still exist? I remember it was very good diesel when I was trucking. Stay safe.

Dan, Personally Ive always liked the single square headlights. Seems like they were often used on heavy haul and cement mixer trucks. I had the typical 4 rectangular lights on my 379 but last year replaced them with the 4 round that used to be on 359s. It looks cool but was a lot of work and $$. Probably wouldnt do it again.
