The 275kg Zercher squat by Kevin Oak is absolutely mental. Try even holding 60kg with a Zercher hold and you will see why.

Well I mostly agree with Eddie. In mark bells podcast Eddie said after Thor pulls 501kg that Thor was gonna retire which basically was confirmed cause after the 501kg deadlift he said he had a 7 figure contract doing something different other than strongman. So in other words Thor done just enough to crap on Eddie. And lastly Thor lied on the 520kg attempt. Which is what ppl clearly wanted because beating the record by 1kg was cheap being that a 1/1000 difference in bar tensile strength could of give him just enough or bar leaving the ground late enough to pull 501kg sense rouge is slightly weaker bar meaning the weights left the floor later which might have give him a 5-10kg advantage. Thor is letting eddie and his fans down. If he had done 520k then yes thor is stronger but 501kg seems cheap. And a way to pad pockets. A example would be in a 100 yard dash, you use a unapproved shoe as in this case the bar, that gives a 1/1000 advantage is faster/ easier to do the weight. Natrually the top of the lift is easier, so if the bar bends slightly more with the rouge setup the weights leave the ground later. Its something that can be measured, take and tie a rope to different bars with the same weight yet different tensile strength and use a pull scale and youll find the amount of pounds needed to pull the same weight off the floor will have slightly different curves until the bar completely leaves the ground and the entire 500kg is in hand. They use this all the time on bow scales and on steel bars to be up to code for the application. Olympic bars dont have a standard in that department. A cheap standard Olympic bar can start to bend at 400lb while higher grade like ivacoe usually dont bend until 7-800lb. Rouge bar was clearly weaker and left the ground later. Thor was so close to failure the last 5 inches on the 501 he had to set it on his fat above his nee's and lean back the remainder of the way. It saved him. That alone shouldnt count but i know by rules pulling is pulling. Secondly, about eddie dying, yes he had a brain bleed but sometimes its just brain structure is weaker, a 400lb fat guy can have a aneurysm pooping straining out a big turd. Other ppl can go to their limit and not hurt themselves. Its about body structure. Im so strong in my fingers my fingers will pop outta joint if i try. But someone else with same effort theres might not even pop out same strength. And clearly Thor told everyone on shaws interview with him and on nick strength and powers video where he was talking about the 520 he would try it regardless of the twich followers. On matters of the bar Take a bow for example, when u pull the string back you dont get the entirety of the poundage until its completely drawed back. The point at which you reach the full poundage rating of the bow is different with each. Different curves. Common sense is if your gonna fail the lift its at the first 10 inches of the lift. For example: So imagine a weaker bar it begans to bend as you pull where the weights havnt left the floor yet, 2 inches of bow you have 400kg of resistance, then at 3 inches 440kg resistance and the weights leave the floor at 4 inches the entire 501kg. That delay, that momentum helps eliminate the sticking points. You can tell when he ran out of momentum when thor about stopped at his nee's. Now compare a stronger bar at the same weight, the same 2 inches of bow you already have 450kg of resistance, 3.5 inches of bow you have the entire 501kg in hand lessing the momentum off the floor meaning the possibly of a missed lift. This can be seen, If you watch eddies 500kg he had no sticking points like thor did. Therefor the stiffer bar give him little advantage at the bottom of the lift, less momentum and it was brute strength pulling the 500kg off the floor with eddie. With the stiff bar Its kinda like lessing the run in go of going up a big hill with a heavy truck. The more momentum you have the farther the truck would go. In conclusion eddie used a stiff texas deadlift bar while thor used a cheap rouge bar.

Well, that was one of the longest comments that I have read. From your terminology I would gather that you left the university mechanical engineering program after the first semester. Better than most of the comments, who are of course left by 8th graders...
