With that many worms the bin does cycle faster. I bet I could harvest more, but i need to make more bedding lol.

i hate it when I do that -- dump the sifter into the sifted. :-) Nice harvest. No forgiveness needed for your dogs. This is not a studio production. It is much more effective live, with reality included. I've never been offended by background noises in such productions. This isn't entertainment, but education, and as such I think it is much more effective when showing reality. Great stuff.

Thanks! Real life person with 100K worms in her basement. lol

That jammin music you played while speeding up the footage reminded me of the Ramones - sounded a little like Ballroom Blitz :) You mentioned how you were unsure about how your basement invader will be evicted/eliminated. Are you opposed to using lethal countermeasures on such basement visitors?

It's amazing to watch your beautiful system. 🪱🪱🪱🪱 I Harvest year-round because I'm in Windermere, Florida zone 9b and they are put into the Garden shortly after. What do you do with your Castings in the winter? Just Harvest and save for Spring? Thanks Ann, for sharing 🪱👍🪱

I have a very deep bin that i put them in. I leave a few worms in there to keep them fresh until i need them. I do keep my tropical bonsai, pepper plants and orchid in the house in the winter. I use the casting for tea for them in the winter and put the "grounds" back into the casting bin to be refreshed.

What size screen are you using?
@PlantObsessed2 жыл бұрын
I use the 1/4 inch most of the time. If I want to catch cocoons I use the 1/8 or 1/12 inch size.
