@@milktortoisewisdoms3449 because In ruby and Sapphire the zigzagoon that attacks professor Birch isn't shiny locked and neither is the poochyena that attacks Birch in emerald just like Wally's Ralts. Alot of shiny hunters resetting for a shiny gen 3 starter have found uncatchable shiny poochyena and zigzagoon. Hence why they're a nightmare. I found one like three weeks ago right before I got my shiny treecko to start my hoenn stater trio hunt

I’ve been playing pixelmon a lot myself recently and it’s been really fun. The one thing is that you can find pokemon with higher levels by going farther from spawn so he’d have to turn that setting off.

13:55 This is actually because of a mechanic in this game that I only found out about by reading the official strategy guide. Likely due to being able to encounter pokemon up to level 60 right from the beginning of the game, they impose exp limits, While you have no badges, any pokemon over level 25 will treated as level 25 for the sake of exp calculations (With the level limit increasing with each badge)

I'm pretty sure that the experience of the 'strong-looking Pokémon' is capped at the level the captures are as well so you'd get the amount of experience you would for fighting a level 20 Pokémon even though you battled a level 60 Pokémon

Based on 16:35 I was going to comment about how you can use a rare candy on a level 100 Pokémon to allow it to evolve, but then I realised that that would have meant more encounters to grind more rare candies.
