Be careful with placement. Recently some Inhome security camera like product (cameras) were hacked where they were talking to and scaring a young child, another entirely different property while wife was in bed and husband was out of town, she called him and he said he wasn't accessing (red lite was on) it etc (believe a voice spoke to her as well). If it's online or accessible via Bluetooth or other, it more than likely can be hacked. This was in the news several times over the last few weeks.

I am glad neither Melissa nor Hunter were seriously hurt. In college I had a friend who suffered from seizures. It is quite scary stuff I lost very good friend about two weeks ago. Your videos have been a great balm to my wounded spirit. Your family has the special magic he had. You all touch, welcome, and understand, people you have never seen or talked with. Thanks for your generous gifts to the wider community. God bless you all, may He keep you safe and well.

I know this is an older video, but I just found your page. First, love what you guys are doing. Keep it up. Second, my heart goes out to you and Hunter. It is never easy caring for a special needs child and most people just do not understand the struggle of everyday life. My oldest has epilepsy, since birth, and it has been such a struggle to take care of him and his unique needs. God bless you and your family. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family!

That Melissa is one gorgeous-ful critter! To watch a classy lady working like that is amazing, as they say "I'm not just another pretty face, I know how to DO STUFF,too". She looks and acts as nice in the workin' clothes as she would in the "little black dress". And I absolutely love that saw mill! I wish my dad would have bought one of those many years ago. All he bought my brother and me was a Shop Smith, but never taught us much about it, we had to learn it all on our own.

I learned about seizures from a colleague...he's a pretty big guy (tall and heavy) and fell on me one morning as I was trying to keep him from hitting his head on our office plotter (engineering department) and took us both down! But after watching his six for a few years, he's now helping me with my work. Yeah, he got treatment and I'm training him to be a camera engineer for our TV station. Some hard lessons along the way, but he's responded and I'm glad I spent the time to work with him. Proved my point to the company that ANYONE can be rehabbed. It may take a few years, but he's a new person.

Sorry to hear about your sone. My wife has epileptic seizures as well. Mostly from all the stimulus living in a city gives you. We are trying to move out of the city to an acreage asap. But it is sad we have to lock our doors everywhere now. I remember in the 70’s living in the country we never locked our doors in the daytime. Had lots of neihbors visiting and always had the door open for everyone. So much better for people that have those types of medical problems, plus it is a better way to live. Much calmer. Cheers

Don't be afraid of getting one of the wood miser two saw edgers . We had one , two guys could egde and grade sort well over 25,000 boardfeet of two inch stock in an eight hour shift ( two ten minute coffee breaks, union lol ) some of the planks were full width of the edger , but we had the over top return rolls . Best little edger and sizes were perfect , lumber straight as an arrow , highly recommend one to you . PS , that lady is in mighty fine shape , lucky you have her

Hunter's seizures sounds like the ones I have. Usually mine are caused by low potassium or low blood sugar. Eating sweets early in the morning like pancakes can cause my blood sugar to drop. I was told I might be pre-diabetic. Any who going on the Keto diet helped me immensely. I also have anxiety in crowded stores and slow strobing hypnotic lights really messes with me. Just some things you might want to be aware of and keep an eye on Hunter for those things. If he eats a sweet breakfast, or those Thanksgiving carby leftovers early in the morning, just need to make sure he gets a big protein meal afterwards. Be blessed. Love that sawmill.

I just saw your video - lumbering intrigues me (and you got a bunch of nice boards out of that log! Anyway, my son has had grand maal seizures since he was about 15 (out for 4 minutes, barely detectable pulse - frighteningly slow, and extremely - almost undetectable breathing before he came out of it. Scary stuff). He was free of them for 6 years on medication to prevent them. As protocol dictates, he was then taken off of them - and about 2 years later (last October), went down on pavement in front of our house - a neighbor, former ENT saw him go down, took care of him (and he had another only a couple of minutes later. Needless to say, back on meds, doing extremely well, driving again and feeling well. Good luck with your son!

I will certainly add Hunter to that list, and I will remember him in my prayers. Mike:. I am right with you about the bifocals. I am glad that Hunter is well, it might have ended differently had y'all didn't have the simply safe. Thomas still has partial focused seizures, and hopefully one day they will stop. However, he's had them since 2010. And they still happen on occasion. He is on medication, and he seems to go maybe a month or so and not have one. The wood is beautiful. Be careful, I saw a rattlesnake, the other night coming home from work, so they have definitely started crawling about. Have a day!
