This has quickly become a favorite channel Dan. You're such a great truck driver, you work hard making sure loads are secure and I know from experience, that tarping is a pain in the ass! You also appear to be a hell of a nice guy. This is America people, honest hard work by dedicated professionals. Safe travels always to you and Bailey

truck and trailer looking good Dan , For sure Bailey just a happy little camper 😁 For your truck and trailer that's a pretty good lightweight I thought maybe heavy , That flat load is the best load you can haul Looks nice setting on there , always good work dan , For sure what the dude told you about you don't chain the load to the trailer you chain the trailer to the load 🤔 Got to think about that one for a minute or two , Looking pretty Sunny down there That's a good thing besides the little bit of rain you had , be safe take care yourself DAN

I - 40 bridge had issues late last Summer/Fall. I-40 bridge is the one DOT’s spent tons of money previously to make it earthquake resistant. The I-55 bridge downstream they’ll let fall into the river next big New Madrid earthquake as it’ll cost less to build a new I-55 bridge instead of retrofitting the current bridge

@richbrannon55622 жыл бұрын
@Dan, I am not a truck driver, but I was wondering if it would be easier to use a curtain sided trailer rather than tarping. You wouldn't have to crawl on the load to put on the tarp and you wouldn't have to fold it when you are done.

Hey Dan. I used to work for a rental company that rented steel plates. The plates had a special wedge bungs welded in the middle for lifting. Biggest plate was 8x20 and we had the fold up type cranes on the boom trucks to deliver them in the KC area. Oh so much fun we had. Love your videos. Be safe buddy.

Question on that transformer load he parked alongside: I noticed a couple of long thin poles arching over the top of the load; I see this on a lot of heavy-haul loads. What are they for? It kinda looks like they have a thin cable running through them -- do they somehow help hold down the load?
