The first early morning shot comming out of Junee suggest it was as cold there as it was here in Melbourne, you must have been freezing Bevan. Shows dedication though.

As usual, great footage. The American built locos have, in my opinion, the best whistles ever. Gee those safety valves won't last long the way they're lifting them. I was always taught to fire up to the pin, but not over it. At least not too much!
