I'm in elf mode and sewing ufo's and a few new things for Christmas gifts. Just picked up Simplicity 9829 for the top and a McCalls for the bottom. If all goes well, it'll be the last thing I make. I've got quite a bit to do. Happy Thanksgiving!

My husband works from home. Even though I would prefer to WFH, the huge increase won't allow it because of meetings, so I can manage

Congratulations on your new job! Yep, new job = new clothes 😃! I'm interested to see what you do with the adaptive pattern and the costume one, too - a lot of costumes were what people were wearing at a different time anyway - I'm hoping they bring back the bustle because I already have the body for it 😆! I'm sorry you have to go into the office now but they're making it worth your while. Just as long as you still have time to sew!

I've been knowing about VikiSews since 2021. I just never bought anything till the top of the year. Why? Because I was against PDF patterns, but now I see they are not bad to put together or send to get printed.

@@loissage3630 aww thank you 🙏🏾. I almost did not talk to the recruiter, then I called him back to discuss 10 minutes later. I just told him and the managers what I wanted and the rest was history. I did not ask for a $45K raise. I asked for a $25K raise. Based on my years of experience and background the lead said to bring me in at the top part of the pay band. I'm truly thankful
