Always looking forward to your next project. They are so informative and help us all learn so much about the machines we use. You always go above and beyond for your customers to satisy their needs, which is very hard to find these days. Your shop looks way better than how you think it looks. having a room full of hardware is expected with your kind of business, the shops I've been to usually have something similar. As for the reason why I'd need the SSD/Keyboard, I currently own a 9-year-old laptop that has a HDD, and as you can expect, it's painfully slow even with a ram upgrade. Can't afford to upgrade as I'm tight on money, but an SSD would be a life saver.

Don't worry about being on camera, you just get used to it. And you look good so there's also this adventage. How's the business? I've heard it's hard to run PC repair shops as most people want help either with laptops or mostly with phones / tablets. I myself would love to tinker with other people's PCs but I wouldn't want to get into the mobile / tablet game :P

Thanks! I have done a few tablets and phones, but I usually refer to a local shop that specializes. Laptops I work on or refurbish for sale all the time. I go through much more than desktop PC's. For a home business outside of my day job, it's busy enough.

Your shop looks just fine. With a PC repair business, there's no way to get around having a room, or rooms, full of hardware and cables. You've also got some great history there. Wow, I remember when DDR2 RAM came in 1 GB sticks...and they cost a fortune. Just out of curiosity, are you an engineer by education? I've noticed that you're quite articulate and have excellent writing skills.

Thanks for the kind words! I have both an English Language Arts and Teaching Degree. Computer/IT work has just always been an interest I've maintained and really dug into in the last decade. Hands on/tool skill might be my time working in trades before uni. Many years ago I dropped out of computer networking to go play music. I did take computer science a couple of times as an elective, but programming wasn't a huge interest at the time.
