Just watched the new RECHER on prime video starts to fall. Finally a true Jack reacher as described in the books by Lee Child. I love the show and hope that they will continue to use the books in the series in the future.

I'm from SA, I went through Blue moon, loved it, picked up 5 more books by Lee at one time. Half way through A wanted man. Can't seem to put it town. Lee is AWESOME, raw, authentic, very creative and transparent.

I love the Reacher series. I've read them all. Started reading them long before Tom Cruise made the movie. The only problem I have with them is I read them faster than they are written. Put them up for a little while and have started to re read them. Please keep them coming.

I have a passion for Jack Reacher. I think what attracts me to the books is the thought process of the character. He sums up situations mathematically. - Five guys, spaced 6 feet apart in a semi circle, I can take them down. - Incredible! He is the kind of individual you want on your side. I have read all the books, and crave more.

Chanced upon this interview (Good interview) after returning to Reacher after a decade plus some 16 years or more. I had just binge watched the Amazon 1st season. Great job Lee & Amazon. I will checkout Sentinel

23:14 To me, Reacher is like Punisher from comics published by Marvel. In real life, guy like him, would be a psychopath. But it's only fiction, and i like to read about him fighting with bad guys. :)

He said somewhere that he thought he was phoning it in with Blue Moon but that is one of my favorite Reacher novels. The Sentinel is a stumble but hopefully Andrew will grow into the role. I wish him (and Reacher) well

I gravitated to Jack Reacher and love the books today because I am a retired MP Officer and love to fantasize along with the story. Lee gets most things right.

--I disagree with the interviewer, Jack Reacher coordinates with law enforcement all the time, within the first ten to twenty pages of the mentioned "Midnight Line." As for handing the villains over to the police, often the villains are killing him, the police, or the victims when he kills the villains instead. Sometimes he's undercover. My guess is she hasn't read many of the books in the series. --Jack Reacher is Super Cop, the LAW is coming for you and there is no escape. He represents the law the way we wish it was; unbribable impartial Justice executing judgment on the wicked, no matter how rich, powerful, or connected, and on street-level criminals alike, thus protecting the poor and weak from predation. He's NOT a psychopath in the eyes of his readers, just too incorruptible and competent to be true. But then, that's why we're reading it.

Child is clearly still a student of his craft, even after all these years.

the number of JR books seems to vary. I have 26 (read 20 with 6 on the shelf.) I don't have The Sentinel however. So is there 25, 26 or actually 27? Maybe sometime the creators of the YT's will include the official list with date of tabulation for those that may be looking for a book. I know that a couple years ago I purchased the last 6 that Amazon ca had available but have not checked back to see if there are more now available. Lets go see -- Found two more to order and Sentinel is #25 of 27 written so somehow when I order these two I will actually have 28. Lots of reading to do. Looking forward to the next Series.

I have listened to every Reacher book on audio and currently with Sentinel. I love Jeff Harding as Jack Reacher - for me the perfect voice for the character. Thanks Lee for keeping me entertained these past few years - hope Andrew treats Jack with the respect he deserves :) :)

Where did mr childs come up w his story lines? As a colorado resident? Someone who lives in NE colo, we have experienced the invasion of the lawyers from cheyenne wells. They got exited. However mr childs also wrote about the pedophile ring of ne colo and the s & w of the nebr panhandle. How ever did you learn about those 2 problem areas of Colorado? (The Reacher book re pedophile stuff? Is absolutely the most read, thumbed thru, book in the Julesburg library. ;) However did you know about those?

Look, I'm a fan too and read or listened to all the books (well, couldn't endure the brother's contribution). I'm even an Army Vet that doesn't mind some inaccuracy and exaggeration. Hey it's fiction. But come on...there are 8.1 billion people in the world and the opinion that most of them are probably familiar with our esteemed author is as funny as those Coke bottle glasses.

Instead of handing Jack Reacher off do like Eric Flint did with his hit "1632" book series, be the editor of the series. Harness experienced authors who want to write a Reacher novel but keep control. Successions are notorious for killing the golden goose.

There are so many blokes like Lee in Britain. His upbringing and early years are so recognizable to lots of Brits of his generation. I am disappointed to see he has a slight american accent. Anyway, Reacher and Child are both great . . . ENJOY.

My least favourite Reacher books are the ones co-wrote by his bro :( Just seems to over describe every little detail, in little sentences. Gives me a headache. So once he takes over the writing I'm done, it's been fun though.

It doesn’t work. Can’t stand the new books with Andrew. Descriptions are too detailed and BORING and not enough love. You can’t just hand over the writing job Mr Child.

Shame. The Reacher character/books were fantastic except it has really gone down in quality. Both the writing (endless descriptions - no atmosphere) and Mr Ritchson is no match for Tom Cruise. The Plot in Sentinel was absolute BS 'Russia Russia Russia' and not a Ch i na enemy in sight. Reacher has lost his commitment to Women - he no longer has liaisons worth listening to. I'm no longer a fan.

Watched Reacher on Amazon Prime. Disappointed. Is Reacher gay? I was hoping for a James Bond character, more of a ladies man. On Amazon, we can show all kinds of horrible violence, but a little sex? Oh no that's obscene.
