6:30 AM Walmart Spark Delivery shift!

My wife and I just got home. Her and I both delivered all day today. We went from 7:00 am this morning until 7:00 pm and I made $320 and she did $287. Pretty good day.

I go out for 3-3.5 hours in the early AM, 7-10(10:30)AM. I do this 3-5 days a week, spark and Uber Eats, both primarily only for Walmart pickups and I typically make $80-120. Today 7:15-10:45 $114.

Just found your channel. I started Spark about a year ago as a way to fill some time from my regular fulltime gig. May I suggest something to make things easier for you? Buy some plastic storage totes. When you are loading the order in your car, put the order in a tote. When you arrive at the customer's house grab the tote and take the whole order to the door.

I must be in a special area. I've picked up curbside at 3 different Walmarts, and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for any order. I've been driving for spark for about 2 months now. I hope it stays that way. I made $140+ just this morning in about 4 - 4 1/2 hours. It was a good morning.

Yeah during this time of year it's almost counter productive to try and do curbsides. The orders take too long to be loaded I wish the algorithm would switch it and just let you go shop the order yourself.

♥️ I have worked in two markets near my area, and our curbside service people are beyond slow. I have actually waited for a customers order even though I knew I could drop it in 30 minutes. I and other spark drivers have waited three hours in two different areas that are less than an hour, travel distance from me. I prefer the shop and delivery orders in my area.♥️

It's interesting to see different arrival times in different markets In my market we have standard curbside arrival times of 45 minutes to 55 minutes after each hour, then often long wait times that bleed well into the next hour Because of this we can only make decent hourly pay with shopping and delivery, ASAP curbside pickups, or multi-app work I've done the early AM shifts for assessment purposes, and the per-order time window incentives,, however it was really slow, or offers were garbage

I hope your Silverado does better than my husband's. He had to have the transmission rebuilt twice in less than 5 years. (First time didn't last because the mechanic did something wrong but it didn't show up until the warranty period was up.) Now about a year later there is an issue with the engine.... only way to fix it is to rebuild it. Not worth it at this point.

I live in Dallas, and been doing trash Instacart orders for the past year. Struggling to make $125 a day in a busy ass city. About to start doing Spark. Kind of nervous, but hoping to make at least $200 a day in Dallas. That would be nice. Fingers crossed.

Just started in my area in northern CA and have not been able to complete one order. It's so weird but had an offer for $25 but kid you not for 22 stops!!!!!! Uh nope! Or there was a $6 offer for 10 mile delivery! I decided to pick up some door dash instead for max 3 mile driving! Pretty crazy...and also would get an offer but would literally be clicking it super fast to review it and "already taken". Very frustrating to not be able to even see it ! At least dd and uber eats does not do this...when an offer pops up...your not going to loose it for a min to decide. I thought spark gave you more time but first you have to click fast enough to see the details. Love your positive vibe and at the end of it for me is I'm going go take what I can and let the rest go. Lol I'm a full time teacher btw.

At the end it’s just helping the community and older people. Plus Walmart is sucking blood from the drivers and bragging about their higher hourly pay rate. They are very cunning and don’t care about the drivers at all.

Also if your taking say a $16 and 1hr passes by before you can take your next order that's min wage buddy not nice. You have wait time to hit arrived you have wait time for items, you have delivery time plus time to get back to walmart, or you have shop time. Once again basically min wage.

I did see this! It scares me a bit. I hear the argument for more benefits, and protection for overtime hours and such..but what I’m thinking is that most of the app based companies will not be able to afford the cost. It costs money to afford employees higher wages and benefits. I don’t want to be an employee. I want to choose when where and how I work. Independent contractor is just fine for me. What do you think?

@Missippidashing I think if the gig work is more beneficial from W2 employees besides the freedom to work when ever and where ever you like seems good to me. But me personally I like working as an employee and not worry about bills every ones idea is different over all the flexibility of being independent contractor is nice opportunity

Omg!! They kills me when you get a good order and one of the trips was canceled. I had a $50 order that ended up being $18 and one that was $40 that ended up being $14. 😞
