#6 3rd Function Install on John Deere 3e

I would be happy to pay you to make me a mounting kit i also use the wr long third function kit on my 3038e with 300e loader but the way the hydraulic lines are mounted to the cross bar is the pits the dealer installed for me with hose clamps only and it moves around and comes loose i like your system i too want to keep my warranty so im not into welding anything into the cross bar let me know please i enjoy your content and love the way you added this kit to your tractor have a great day

I purchased the WR Long kit for my JD 4110 tractor a couple of years ago. It is a good kit and has worked well with my grapple. I've been trying to figure out a good way to securely attach the bulkhead, but couldn't until I watched your video. Your solution is exactly what I will do. Sure beats my mickey-mouse method using large tie wraps and a rubber sleeve. I recently purchased a welder so I'm going to try it tomorrow. Thanks a lot for sharing your idea!

@@polkqwe11 I told W.R. Long (252-823-4570) my tractor's model number 4110 and they shipped me their "VKS18 (Selector Valve Kit 18GPM with Bulk Head Plate and Ag Quick Connects Dynamic Valve). Just tell them your JD model and they will send you the correct kit.

That's a nice setup on the front mount. I have the Artillean diverter kit coming this week for my 3038E. Lots of videos on the 1 and 2 Series but not much out there for the bigger compacts.

I’m curious why you would buy the Artilian diverter kit instead of the true 3rd function kit from everything attachments . I bought the EA kit for $908 just like in the above video and installed it pretty much just like Andrew shows in the video and it’s worked perfect for over a year. I went to your KZbin channel and saw nothing about it FYI

Trying to get a 3rd function on a 3 series is difficult. I got mine through dealer. They would not weld, I engaged JD engineering and they advised that they could not warranty, but the dealer could weld and it was low risk. I will try to attach pics.

Do they custom taylor this kit for the different tractor? I've seen on your box it was for a John Deere, I've seen the same part number listed as being for a Mahindra 1626. Where do they ask for the tractor info when ordering?

Yes they ask a lot of questions about your tractor. Open/cap, back hoe or any other hydraulics already on it.

What about your rear implements? My dealer added this and I have to disconnect and connect hydraulic lines switching from my grapple to the backhoe. Other videos show at tee at the power beyond.

I don’t have a back hoe on my tractor but it sounds like something isn’t hooked up right for sure.

I don’t have the part number. I ordered it through everything attachments. Call them and they will help you get the right one for your tractor and hydraulic set up. I have had zero issues with it.

It controls the hydraulics on front of the loader for a grapple.

It may not be the exact kit for the D series but when you order you will specify what tractor and loader you have and get you the kit you need. I have had two different ones and both worked flawlessly.
