Coolant leaking, 6.7 Diesel Superduty. Hey everyone welcome back. Tonight we have a goodie. I have done this job many times and still haven't got to film one.....well that day has come. Sit back and enjoy. If any one has had to do this on their rig let me know. This procedure is not for all trucks. The new ones do not have an oil line and the coolant line is no longer a quick disconnect. Make sure to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE!!!

ARod I love your videos man. You really help us Do it yourself guys out so much! Thank you. The biggest problem I run into when doing these jobs at home is disconnecting and unplugging all the different types of connection points, mechanical and electrical. It would be super helpful if you could put a video together for the 6.7 one day. Hope you have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Houston TX.

That was the very first thing I did to my 6.7. I cut the hard line kind of close to the fitting. Then threw a deep socket over the fitting and remaining line and pulled it out. Watched flmmaz on KZbin and knocked it out.

Now when my pops comes back from Florida I can check this fitting now that I can actually get a good idea of where it is. back at it again helping me keep the old mans truck on the road 😂. I just did this today. Lost the nipple in the valley of the motor. 😂🤣😂 I think this has corrected my issue though. I did this without removing the intercooler piping. I give this task a 5 out of 10 in terms of difficulty simply because of how hard the nipple snap ring is to access.

Thank you sir! I don't have this leak; at least not enough to see any coolant anywhere. But I do have a very slow leak somewhere in the primary system. I think it must be on the turbo - where the leak is in to the valley and it's evaporated from there. But not 100% sure - as I haven't seen it. I believe that is a similar fix? No? Anyway - thanks for posting these videos. Super helpful to many of us!

Had to do both the coolant and oil lines and connectors on this almost impossible place to work on my 2012 6.7 at around 85k as there was coolant leaking down the back of the engine. Great video, I wish I had it to look at to do mine..also at the end the way to disconnect the CCV line is a great help as I’m about to put a “reroute” kit on the system to vent it to atmosphere and not return oily condensation to the intake to gum up the turbo. Thanks
