6 Awesome Camp Locations Near Water | Fallout 76 Tips and Tricks

One of my first camps was near Foundation. Close to the little lake where the super mutant behemoth spawns. Haha, I went crazy with the water purifiers at that camp.

For a C.A.M.P. in The Mire, I like the power pylon just west of the Southern Belle motel. There's a dam you can harvest wood from, mutated fern nearby, and right rear Boomer and the treetops. There are some bloodbugs that spawn nearby, but they're nothing a few turrets can't handle. It's really cool building inside a power pylon, since it kinda already has a framework for walls, and you can use the pylon to scale to your roof if you have the marsupial mutation.

Nice, I think I also noted that location when I was scouting. There's a ton of fun spots in the Mire. I almost featured one that was directly across the street from Harpers Ferry too. Love the overall vibes of that region...so good.

I had my camp at the ash heap location and sadly had a scorched beast spawn, I had to have my higher level friend kill it with me. So I guess that location also needs planning for beasts and super mutants

Oh bummer! I had a camp there for a long time and never had a scorch beast attack, but super mutants definitely did haha.

i just wish the map had like some really big lake where i could build my fishing village (and the fact that always the spots that look the coolest have annoying enemy spawns like the boat on ohio river and those dumb two mirelurks

Well, there's the big lake near the power plant in the Mire? Seems like it could be a good spot for a fishing village

There’s 1 west of Lady Skft serve’s ice cream spot in the forest region, I saw somebody build there once, but I can’t figure out where to place foundations to build. I’m sure there’s a way with the underpinning build tricks to build lower than the original foundations to make it reach just over the water and build flatter. But yeah. It’s east of Darling Sister’s shack and west of Lady soft serve.
