Ok, trying to get my head around the model designations...you’ve got a ‘type S’. Is that different to the OzDM accord euro? Looking over wiki I see that the Oz cars got the k24a3, same as the NZdm cars. Is it just the badging? The yanks got the k24a2 in the Accura TSX. Think I’m going to have check out more details.
@KiwiCarLife2 жыл бұрын
I just call it a type s coz it's universally recognised as a k24 accord euro. It's actually a " Honda Accord Euro S Sport Manual". With accord euro being the model, S denoting cloth interior (vs L denoting leather, sport meaning it has the body kit and manual obviously denoting the transmission. That should give you an idea of all the nz models
@markmcgrath90982 жыл бұрын
@@KiwiCarLife thanks mate, been enjoying your comparo of the type r vs type s. We got cloth interior versions and Luxury versions with poxy plastic wood and leather seats. Same engines and gearboxes. Way more autos sold than manuals. I’ve been looking at importing a type s but for price difference it seems like you could take a local car most of the way toward a similar performance base like you’ve done. Gotta say, I really think the off-vtec gutless response of the k20 would piss me off in a daily driver.
