When searching "sardines" on KZbin it took 10-15 results to finally find one that's actually about...y'know, sardines. It was part 1 of this series. These recipes are great. Your take on Unagi-don is particularly clever. Glad I found you. Subscribed, and I look forward to watching what else you've got!

I think my favorite thing about your videos (and there are several things I really like) is the way you cook amazing and unique dishes without $200K in kitchen appliances and tools. Everything you use is accessible to the average person. We need more chefs like you, encouraging the rest of us to try new things.

I was so excited to make the noodle dish! It really got me inspired. Because I’m in Mexico, I added a few different flavors. So I Made gluten-free spaghetti noodles, and used mushroom, cilantro, jalapeño, parsley, and added in cut up cactus leaf. Cactus leaf is a bit sour bc it is in Brine. It’s sort of tastes like a pickled green bean. Topped it all with sardines in olive oil, salt and pepper, and I was so happy! Thanks for the inspiration. Now I’m stocked up with sardines and rice paper wraps.

This is the kind of recipe video I actually go back to and use for real, not just watch and forget about. I like canned fish but I've always just ate it straight up, so I've grown tired of it. The idea of adding something more acidic and fresh to balance the fattiness is great. Today I bought a can of sardines for the first time in years and made that salsa. :)

I just came across these videos (Parts 1 & 2) because I was trying to see if I could find someone who made sardines like my mom used to. She passed away 6 years ago now & even in her latter years she had not made sardines in Years (that I know of anyway since I didn't live at home). I could have sworn she would clean them, add mayo, onion & garlic and mix it all together like paste-then we'd eat it with crackers. Delicious! But all these recipes are new & tasty looking. Who Knew?!?! I must try all of them. Thank You😊
