It's called taking care of it and properly moisturizing. Anyone can achieve soft hair but the reason why some women with kinky experience rough hair is due to dryness and lack of moisture. Natural oils such as coconut oil is really good on natural and can fix the problem:)
@lansmith7988 жыл бұрын
moisturizing your hair can make it "soft" but people have different hair types. curly hair will look softer. kinky hair won't. (most of the time)
@ashafuller67988 жыл бұрын
Lan Smith kinky hair will "look soft".. but as long as u put oil &a cream u can achieve softness by touch and look. I've been natural 5 years. and my kinks carry different curl patterns. regardless i always achieve soft felt and fluffy hair.

The only thing they don't say about natural styles is that you have to put on a ton of makeup :/ and that makes me sad because apparently to look pretty with my own hair, I have to put on makeup.

@saldiamond8 жыл бұрын
you don't have to put on a lot of makeup! you'll still look feminine if that's what you're going for :) you can express that in other ways like jewelry, clothing, etc. skip what other people think, if you're fine with the way you look, don't feel like you have to do something you don't want to :) good luck with your decision to cut!
@sbnks158 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh, I feel the saaaame way. Some days I feel okay without makeup though. Usually on the weekends when I'm not working and seeing people I know. Lol. I don't put on a ton of makeup though. Just enough to look natural and like I'm not trying too hard. Cutting my hair actually made me start wearing makeup. I felt so ugly. But, I've gotten used to going with and without. Good luck if you do cut your hair!

@taraquinch12568 жыл бұрын
Lechiffresix six You can get protein overload especially if you use various products that all have Coconut oil or some type of other nut oil like almond oil, jojoba oil, macadamia oil, etc. The key is using a clarifying shampoo once a month to reduce the protein and get rid of product build up. Protein is good but too much can make your hair hard and dry.

Thank You! I'm tryna grow this twa out so I can really play with it. This will get me through that awkward stage.
