that was 5 DOF robot, your end effector capable all three translational motion freedom, and two rotational freedom, its lacking one more rotational motion freedom. Gripper servo doesn't count as robot joint, also joint not always determine a robot degree of freedom. DOF is parameter of motion freedom of a robot end effector has, or capable. let say if you build robot with 6 joint its not always make the end effector capable all six axis motion freedom if not configure appropriately.
