When I was pregnant with my newest baby, your videos brought me great comfort. Now she's 5 months old and starting to sleep through the night so my supply is certainly different. Breastfeeding moms always worry because we can't see how much baby is drinking! But I always take comfort in normal diapers, deep sleep = happy and full baby!

Hi there Catherine 😊, it's great to hear that our videos brought you some comfort! 😊 That's exactly what we want since being pregnant and being a new mom is tough enough at times... Also, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts with us! We totally agree! Having had a baby ourselves, we know how parents worry 24/7. But basically, as long as your baby keeps gaining weight and as long as you see some 5 wet diapers a day, your baby should normally be fine... And yes, deep sleep means happy and full baby!! 😊❤️ 👍 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

First-time Moms don't realize how exhausting the first few weeks of a baby's life is for Mom, because of night-feeds. So have as much as possible ready at home before you give birth. Have the shopping done. Batch-cook healthy meals and freeze them for the weeks after birth. Have the baby's sleeping area ready, and have any outstanding chores or projects completed before Baby arrives. Good luck.💖

It is so important to listen to such information for first time moms-to-be! It is a common misbelief, that by the way seems reasonable at first glance, that when a baby loses some weight after the delivery and they don't latch very well yet, that you need to give them formula instead of offering an "empty" breast. Such a vicious circle, as you say. It is so great that you talk about it and make women realise it is rarely the case that they don't have enough milk. It is just a matter of supply and demand and the fact that a baby must "order" milk by proper sucking.
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there Milena 😊, thanks so much for your very lovely feedback!! 😘 We could not agree more! And can we also say: we really like the way you phrase it: the baby has to "order" milk first by proper sucking! This is really a great metaphor that we are inclined to use in one of our future videos if you don't mind... 😊 Again, thanks so much for commenting and ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Not eating properly will decrease milk supply. Have a drink of water near you when you're breastfeeding, because breastfeeding makes you thirsty. Be very careful though, never ever pass a drink -(especially a hot drink!) over the baby's head.💖

Do you also have videos on tongue-tie or lip-tie since these can also cause a decrease?
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😊, that's a great topic! Thanks for that! 😊 Technically, the tongue-tie itself does not directly decrease the milk supply. The problem is rather that it can prevent a good latch. This can cause the demand for milk to decrease and as a result, the same can happen to the milk supply. Unfortunately, we have not yet produced a video on this topic! But we just put it on our list - thank you! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there 😘, it's SO difficult to come up with good advice here... When a baby is that little, the question is WHY is that the case.... For example, it could be that baby is not sufficiently nurtured through your placenta... However, this is something that they have to investigate. On the other hand, just because baby is below the 10 centile, it does not automatically mean that there are complications. Some babies ARE super small. Period. Based on that, the question is also, if it has to be a C-section straight away? Is it not an option to induce labor first, if that baby really has to get out of there quickly? Therefore, we can only recommend that you take all your documents and your hospital folder and get a second opinion by another doctor... It's really the only thing you can do. We are sorry that we cannot be a better help here... 😬 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@transformersprime5568 Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the reply❤I have ask for the induction to my doctor she said if pains aur natural it's better other wise baby can't Torolate artificial pains
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
@@transformersprime5568 Yes, natural labor would definitely be better when the baby is very little. However, normally a baby should also be able to tolerate labor pain from medical inductions as long as they don't overdose you... If they give you too much synthetic hormones, your uterus could hyperstimulate. And THIS is when it can become too much for your baby...

Hey there I'm the one whose fetal was breech in 19th weeks now is in cephalic presentation at its 32nd weeks I'm happy and thatnks to you here's my another concern how can I be able to breastfeed when my baby will be born because according to doctors my baby needs breastfeed after one hour of birth
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😊, first of all, we are very happy to hear that your video helped you turn your baby!! 🥰🥰 As for your other concern: Don't worry! You WILL breastfeed your baby one hour after birth! In this video, we just wanted to make you aware that initially, your milk does not yet flow abundantly. Initially, all your body produces are a few drops of colostrum which - however - is normally all baby needs (except when there are medical problems or when the baby is a preemie). And then a few days later (day 2-5), you will have milk in abundance.... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Ok so what will happened if you are in the hospital and your breastmilk stop flowing when you are in the hospital and it doesn't start flowing at all then what
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there Carmen 😊, it's not that easy to answer this question with that little information because it depends on so many factors. For example: when you say your milk "stops" flowing when you are at the hospital, it means that it DID flow at first, right? When that's the case, you have to ask yourself, why did it stop now that you are at the hospital! This leads to the next question: why are you at the hospital? For example, have there been complications? And, in particular, what does the hospital setting do to your mind? Those are just examples. There are many factors that we would need to take into account in order to answer your question.... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@carmenwalker3495 Жыл бұрын
Ok i understand but like you said it was flowing to were my son got the colostrum and then after that there was no milk at all coming out to the point I had to ask my doctor for some formula for him i was all so blooding from my nipples as well and i think that had something to do with my milk stopping but it was could because i did drink a lot of coffee and i was very stress as well so maybe that could be the reason why
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
@@carmenwalker3495 Okay got you! It's so difficult to say where it is coming from. But basically, when you bleed during your first attempts to breastfeed your baby (and rest assured many women do), then it is normally a sign that the attachment of your baby is not optimal. As a result, your baby cannot remove any milk from your breast. Plus, it's gonna hurt as hell. Don't blame yourself though! It should be the job of your midwife to help you in those cases to establish a good latch! And yes, if there was coffee involved and - obviously lots of stress (who wouldn't be stressed in that situation) - then it can shut down your milk flow. Hormone-wise, it's easy to explain this: caffeine and stress hormones interfere with the release of oxytocin. But oxytocin is required to make your milk flow... But again, don't blame yourself! As we say in our video, you are exhausted from your delivery, you are worried, you are stressed... It's your midwives who should prepare you for such situations and - most importantly - to help you out of them....

Hi there my girl sometimes cry when I feed her from my breasts because after c section I was not able to feed her at first day and my mother in law gave her baby feed now she is giving her regular milk which is not good for my baby please help how I can make my baby have my breastfeed sometimes she take it easy and have breastfeed normally but due to my milk supply is less than the bottle she feels hungry all time that's why mother in law gives her regular milk which I don't want please help
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😘, the key here really is to feed your baby regularly, in order to teach your body that it needs to produce more milk! You can also increase the frequency of the feeds. Moreover, you can try a breast pump and keep pumping milk after your baby has finished, to teach your body that there is more demand. We also have a video on this topic on our channel (how to increase the breastmilk supply). Maybe ,you will find this video helpful! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hey Guys, you recommended feeding sweet potatoes and papaya for constipation in babies but Recently read that sweet potatoes can be high in heavy metals due to being grown in the top layer of soil, can you comment on this? Are there any alternatives?
@CareAboutLittleOnes Жыл бұрын
Hi there 😊, that's some great input and a really good question! In fact, years ago, we talked to an expert about this. But not because of sweet potatoes but rather because of our agriculture and things used in agriculture in general. What we learned is that - what you address here - seems to be a general problem and not just a problem of sweet potatoes. And the problem is not limited to heavy metals. Our soil is also exposed to all kinds of other contaminants which makes you ask yourself: "how on earth should we stay healthy?" So, it seems that most vegetables are exposed to heavy metals and other contaminants, not only from the soil but also from the rain. And the problem also affects so-called "organic food". For example, in Austria (where we come from), we know a supermarket chain that grows their "organic" vegetables next to the highways... We don't need to comment on that.... So the bottom line here is: most vegetables seem to be affected by this or similar problems. And right now, we have absolutely no clue what to do about it.... ☹️
@drkmn3628 Жыл бұрын
@@CareAboutLittleOnes Wow I too have come to this realization about our foods, I was thinking maybe butternut squash would possibly be a more appropriate recommendation for baby constipation in place of sweet potatoes due to it being grown above ground. Although I am not a nutritionist and I’m not sure if it would have the same effect on constipation. Actually I’ve been researching soil remediation for quite a few years now and I’ve come to the understanding that it is possible to remediate the soil using mycelium, tourmaline, and copper in small amounts. I wanted to start my own business doing soil remediation for my tribe, and I am at the point now where I am trying to put together a portfolio to recommend this remediation process. I’m not sure why this isn’t being employed on a worldwide basis since we have such a problem with our soil being contaminated. This type of Myco-remediation is a newer thing in the past 10 years and I thought that it would take off and be employed worldwide already but so far no one seems to know about it or be utilizing it; it just takes one growing season to fix the soil using these three items after placing them into the soil in certain amounts then growing a crop like amaranth and that pulls all of the heavy metals and toxins out of the soil due to the mycelium creating this soil cleansing effect. I would like to talk to you about it more since you seem to be interested please keep me in mind if you would like to collaborate somehow.
