I have been very lucky in that case that initially in starting as I didn’t got much user stories (tasks) to develop but got altogether a different opportunity that was building Automation framework from scratch for the product - banking application using Selenium, Java and building logics in it. And working for almost 2 years over there and then switched to a service based company. So i am having experience of both, having Best of Both Worlds now. Yes, Ajay you are right, everything is destined, my career automatically turned into testing - Automation of web and api. Now i am feeling good and much confident to pursue testing over web development. And yes will surely target companies like Adobe, Amazon in near future. Thanks for clearing my doubts and making my mindset much clearer than before. 😍❤️🙏

ISTQB is like OCJA and OCJP (earlier SCJP) for Java Developer. ISTQB is Certification for Testers. It is good to have and increase once chance for getting onsite opportunities.

@@pn5563 You can start with any programming language like Java, Python, JavaScript, C# in whichever you feel comfortable. Just pick one programming language and after that learn Selenium and JUnit/ TestNG. Then you are good to apply for jobs in Automation QA. You can visit some KZbin channels for it like Naveen Automation Labs, Mukesh Otwani, Raghav Pal, they are having good quality content for automation of web/api. Hope i answered your query..😊
