I think in the long-run it'll definitely help give your biz a more professional feel. But in my opinion when you're first starting out, what you need to focus on is the quality of your writing and finding clients. So using your normal gmail account is A-ok (as long as it's not an embarrassing email address LOL). Having all that professional jazz is nice, but not where I would dedicate a whole bunch of time in the beginning months. Hope that helps!

I agree to a point... I think authentic brand activism can be wonderful and invaluable for many businesses. However, the waters get dangerous and murky when it's inauthentic or "all for show" in an attempt to stay relevant.

I would say the trend are pretty broad - you know your target audience and country of origin best, so always go based off that :) The important thing is to stay on top of it b/c things could change quickly!
