For by one Spirit we were ALL baptized into one body....(1 Cor 12:13). A Holy Spirit empowered life is not just for some who snatch the "Baptism of Holy Spirit" from God! Even if you experience the second work of grace as you pentecostals claim, is it a guarantee that you will live life long in the power of Holy Spirit? "Be Spirit filled" (Eph 5:18) is not a one time experience, it has to be the daily, life long experience of a Christian. It is not the result of tongue speaking experience, but a steadfast spiritual life of prayer and immersed in the word. Do you think only those who shout from the pulpit in the peak of your voice are spirit filled? Often they are not. They can do from the power of flesh as well.....(seen many such falling in to adultery and greed) Even the rap singers and some.politicians can speak very loudly. Do they have the power of HS? never. I am a former Pentecostal, I used to speak in so called "tongues"....which I later realised was just a deception in the flesh. Then I gave up the practice but I still experience the fullness of the Spirit everyday. I have the joy, the inner strength, the love for God ablaze in me. I believe it is because God enables me to maintain my prayer life. Not just because I spoke in tongues once. John Cyndell, I believe is a good preacher but he should avoid promoting " tongue speaking Holy Spirit Baptism-" but teach a life focussed on "Prayer and word" like the Apostles did in Acts 6, from which the life of God can continuously flow into your lives.

Can you Pastor John, honestly claim that the signs and wonders are exactly happening like they did in Acts? Can you raise the dead? Can you heal the lame, the blind, the dumb, the deaf perfectly like the apostles did? Not from you pulpit, but on the road sides and in the market places? Why do you limit you miracles on the pulpit?

As a member of this church, I'm curious if this is your first time watching our pastor? He speaks A LOT about prayer and the word. There's literally a very recent sermon about it, within the last month or so. I would encourage you to look for it. I will also say that yes, we are experiencing a lot of healings, many proven with medical records, inside and outside of the church building, by our pastor, and (very importantly) also by church members including our youth. The Lord is doing a great work right now, whether or not you agree with what Pastor John is saying. That can't be denied. It's awesome that you are so close to the Lord, and I pray blessing and joy over you today. Have a great one!

Also, did you happen to watch the entire video? Pastor John addresses a couple of the points you made in your comments.
