Grief sounds a lot like a midlife crisis. I feel a lot of these feelings after losing my husband and leaving our nine children and I behind. I miss him so much and am struggling because my oldest is really struggling with me and I am trying to show Christ and feeling like I am failing! On top of my health issues and dealing with everyone and everything else.

@@fertilehomestead8879 I felt your comment deep in my heart and the pit of my stomach, as soon as I read it. Though my husband is here, he's terminal. I would've thought that something like this would pull a family closer together, but it's actually divided ours. I wish I had words of encouragement, but no matter what anyone says, it's not going to change the pain from the grief y'all are enduring. My heart goes out to you and your children. May y'all be blessed with strength during your difficult times 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

I am now 47 heading to my fifties! I wish I had this post 7 years ago when cried the whole summer before I turned 40 in September 😂! absolutely love redefining how we interpret the word “crisis” to shift you mind’s perspective of the word will change how we respond to it👏👏👏absolutely love it! It’s an opportunity for change instead of a negative state of life. Excellent explanation!

Pools have chlorine, and chlorine is terrible for people. Dr. Axe even mentions this in his book "Eat Dirt." Second to the Bible, "Eat Dirt" is the best book I have ever read! ❤️ Please read this book!

I am really thankful for this. I am now 43 , working father of growing up kids and Sometimes we really forget what matters most in our busy lives. Our health, our family and loved ones and friends. Life is really short and we get to realize this when we get sick and any moment we can depart from this world. You are truly an inspiration and such a life changer. Thank you and hope many souls will be healed and change for the better from your videos.

Love the pod and this episode but you don’t need to bash CrossFit like that. Lol. I do CrossFit 3-5 times a week and avoid injury. When people do things they shouldn’t is when they get injured. I feel better than ever after 3 years of CrossFit at age 40.

Dr Axe I know it's not your intention but your reminiscing about these memories with your wife doesn't help those of us who had tremendous, immense, intense, traumatic heartbreak from romantic partners we loved and wish we could still share those memories with... as a dude in my 40s who lost the 2 partners I've loved the most in life, who I had the most fun wild memorable adventures with (makes your stories sound tame!) it truly hurts to the core 😩

Just accept it - think what happened - why happened - so this cycle may not be repeated - all grieves make us stronger in patience and we still can be more thankful for many things . Don’t lose hope and have faith
