I have an 89 I bought brand new they have 3 keys from the factory a square key for the ignition a round key for the doors and a small round key for the gas tank.

I got a time traveler from 1990, 89k miles with documented millage. All stock 2 tone paint, nothing really missing, just needs lots and lots of love since somebody forgot about it on a barn for decades. Just got to replace every single gasket since everything leaks but other than that it still runs, I am even thinking of keeping the original faded paint.

I’m running 4.88’s with my 37’s (96 Bronco). It runs about 2400 rpm at 60mph on the gauge (which is closer 70 in reality). If you never plan on going on highway go with 5.13’s

itHE WHEELS HAVE TO BE CENTERED OVER THE BEARINGS OR THEY WILL WEAR OUT FAST!. 37" tires ARE BIG & WILL NEED TO BE BEEFED UP RUNNING THEM. i WENT WITH A 4" LIFT DOR 35" TIRES . A cut & yurned lift without the bracket hanging down. I changed to 4:56 gears with ratchet lockers that work on the street to not eating your tires up. With the long chromoly radius arms heim joint mounted way back under the dor locks . Tall strong shock mounts up front needed for long suspension /wheel travel. I gusseted & plated my TTB beams & built up my arm to beam conections much stronger while adding an F250 pass side slipshaft axle with the big U joints . Then cycked each side whilr turning left & right al the way whil spinnin the tires in 4wheel drive by hand. Clearing all the tight spots with a grinder I also instaled 96 spindles the calapers bolt to them now. I bought them from a opart out 96 with the glass fenders hood core support grill & sl the light fixtures. Then upgrade to HID & also made some longer beams with Hella cans I got from Crsigslist .Put brighter HID light bulbs that use the same ballasts I put the core suport in with 2 bars I made to the top of the core to the firewall. Slit my fenders in half mounted the inners and gusseted the outside of them it 1/2" sqRE TUBE METAL. tHEM MAD MOUNTS FOE THE GLASS OUT OF MWTAL SSPRINKLER PIPE. wITH TH NUT TACKED INSIDE OF WELD WASHERS gOT FIBERGLASS BEDSIDES FOR TH TIRES TO FIT INSIDE. tHEN AMBULANCE /SNOW PLOW STEERING RODS AL NEW BEARINGS $ SEALS & HAD IT ALIGNED. tHE REAR HAS A FRAME TO FRAME SHOCK TOWWER MOVE FOWRWARD A LITTLE SO i DO NOT HAVE TO TUB IN THE BODY IF I WENT 4 LINK ITS NOT AS GREAT WITH THE Broncos shorter wheel base. I went with Deaver Springs instead & went to King Shocks and Brett had me weigh my Bronco front & rear seperate with what I planedto cary in it. They are posision sensative tunable and bi pass resiviors They kind of blew my mind the first time at Pismo dunes Running up the big one looking inland from the water I was airborn off a surprise sand razer 6-8 feet from the bottom of my tires drooped way down below the Bronco on he limit straps. It landed so soft and smooth no bottom out on the bump stops. & made it right up to the top with my old 302 stock engine. I since needed to change that with 100k + and wated more power . I found a great builder a ford master and a 95 full roller MAF internal ballenced into a 408 stroker built for torque with AFR heads headers Y pipe & new cat converters bigger injectors K&n with B&k air intake & a monster trans rebuilt well by Art Car the drag racers trans shop. The transfer case I rebuilt my self new chain planetary gears & attached the oiler tube better New Bronco Graveyard rear drive shaft went south with 1 trip to the river towing a small light boat . It was rebuilt by Banning Driveshaft who builds them for race trucks like my engine buik=lder does.for multiple SCORE teamsand with MAF ithe efi fires on every cyilinder not bANK FIRED LIKE THE OLD BULNOSE FRONT END 87 DID i UPGRADED MY BRAKES FRONT & REAR AND A BIGGER BETTER NEW RADIATOR also. More wheel travel than a Raptor with better suspension and power on a built drive train HiAMP ALTERNATOR WITH HAVING AN ELECTRIC WINCH AND 2 AMPS FOR A LOUD CLEAN STEREO WITH NICE BASS NOT THE ONES THAT SOUND BETTER OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. Along with off road lights etc. An AGM optimA batery that can not spill water acid out the top. It gives me permagrin passing jeeple traffic at 75mph over 3 foot whoops while toasting a hello out the window not spilling a drop smooth and in control. With a new set og BFG 35"tires Warn premium manual hubs while heading into Striped Buite Death Valley over 2-3 foot round rock severywhere It was hard to see the trail for a mile or more going there. Happy to find out when unloading our stuff into the cabbin to take care of &stsy for the night I went to unlock my hubs and was surprised they were not locked I was in two wheel drice the whole time but one time to take a oicture i=off the road I was parked right up to a big boulder I dropped into 4 low to get back on the trail back o the highway and starte dout slow but then it felt like I was stuck? I looked out & saw my drivers side wheels hanging way down on the limit straps a foot off the dirt . Ho[ped out and saw with one wheel I had climed straight up the boulder a few feet+high and was now sitting on my frame rail. Without even feeling it I had to winch itoff that big rock to head home and did.I was proud & happy it did that so esasy &got through that nasty rock garden too without having to back up and try again to get over any rock at all and made good time in two wheel driv thanks to the rear lockers & the front too for its ability to climb up the big sand dunes too with tnhe stock 5.0 engine but seeming like it wanted more power to get over the top of the biggest ones there I can not wait to go back again. I now need to change a door and an new tailgate shell and sll the rubber sealss I bought those too. The insuranse says it has to be painted to cover it for what its worth with alll the work & parts & experts to build the thing why and the great shocks I bought from Brett King himself. FUNNY STORY mE & MY WIFE WENT TO THE mINT 400 AND AFTER AT HOME I LOOKED AT THE PICTURES SHE TOOK. i SAW A FACE OF ONE i RECONISED SHOT NOT FAR FROM HIM i HAD TO ASK. wHEN DID YOU TAK ETHIS ONE AND WHY, sHE SAID THE KIDS PLAYING ON GHE TRUCK BEHIND HIM WERE CUTE. yOU WERE ON YOUR MISSION TO THE kING tRAILER DURING THE CONTIGENCEY. hE SEEMED TO BE STARING ATBYOU WALKING BY. i ASKED DO YOU KNOW WHO RHIS IS? nO SHE SAID & i REPLIED THST IS BJ BALDWIN i WISHi STOPPED HE HAS A BIG SUV LIKE ME A BLAZER RHOUGH NO 4X4 BUTi BET HE RUNS KINGS ON HISRACE TRUCK FOR SURE HE MIGHT HAVE CAME WITHME OR SENT A MESSAGE ALONG TO kING. pLUSS hE LIKES GUNS TOO AND SAFE SSHOOTING TOO HE EVEN DEFENDED HIS FAMILY WITH A GUN LIKE I DEFENDED US THAT NIGHT WELL i DID NOT EMPTY MY GUN & NOT HUT HIM. tHE DETECTIVE SAID HE WOULD HAVE KILLED HIM i HAD DOLD THEM i SHOT SOME ONE i THINK BUT NOT SURE REORTING IT i DID NORT SEEANY BLOOD ON THE FLOOR. tHEN AGAIN i DID NOT SEE ANY HOLE IN MY WALL. tHEY WERE EXITESD PATTING ME ON THE BACK SYING i GOT HIM. Mark says I have to ask you a question I said OK Go ahead we were kind of like friends we woulsd say hi and nod at each other te way we local surfers do. The backspacing was 3.5. we are adding .75 spacers on each wheel. The next step would be to run a set of beadlocks with 4.5 spacing but we are trying to keep this build as cheap as possible for now.

No, the 96's has the same key for the doors and ignition, I have a 2nd owner 96 and the keys all work. It does have a different key for the back window in the tailgate.
