A real "blow your mind" time travel film is the spanish film named "Durante a tormenta" in NETFLIX... There are no questions, no holes and no points left behind in this film... everything makes sense and the events in the past and in the future are perfectly linked to each other... Wow !!!

I've seen all but the first film - Time Lapse, which I'm going to watch now. Time travel is one of my favourite subjects in Sci-Fi (I think it's Sci-Fi). I loved the rest of the films on the list & would strongly recommend them along with Triangle, Looper, Timecrimes, Project Almanac, Interstellar, The Jacket, The Butterfly Effect, Donnie Darko & Coherence (although the last is about parallel universes, rather than time travel).

I don't think we'll watch another movie like Predestination anytime soon...! An incredible work of art! I don't think any other time travel movie is anywhere near Predestination. At some stages, I feel Predestination excels even the likes of Inception and touches the level of Matrix, in terms of the concept.

Edge of Tomorrow is one of the best Cruise films. I found his performance and characterisation very compelling and realistic. never even heard of Time Lapse, but it looks brilliant. Haven't seen 12 Monkeys for a long time, but will need to revisit as it was a cracking movie. I really liked SourceCode, but it needed to get to the point, but amazing Quantum Leap references that I adored. Predestination looks kick ass! I'm sure I have seen Primer but I must have travelled back in time to a point before that happened cos I can't remember the scenes from this trailer.

12 Monkeys so far my favorite. Than Source Code. Such a shame that being a time travel movies fun ( or let say sci-fi in general), never watched Predestination and Primer, which both look awesome. Thanks for waking me up. Imho "The Time Machine" (1960) should be on any time travel movies list.

Edge of Tomorrow is really good! When Tom landet at the beach first time, it reminded me of the beginning of Wolfenstein The New Order. There was a similarity between the iron-dog and some iron creature in the film. Btw, I played the game after I saw the movie. I felt I was in the movie, again. Similar dark mood.

I think Primer stands out from all of these in my mind because it feels.. real. Both the mechanics, the tricks, the reactions, and the fact that there is just a rising tension in that something just feels.. *wrong*. And that what happens that fucks things up is not some crazy sci-fi thing but just.. basic human psychology and interaction.
