Your body control is amazing. You just fly through these difficult moves without any problems at all. I do quite a lot of calisthenics, but these exercises surpass my momentary capacities.

OMG! Did you say beginners??? Struggling with the 2nd half of the 1st pose!😝😝😝 Will be adding this to my core work and try to do it everyday in March and see how much I've improved as a challenge to myself!

I have a lower back injury and it was pretty uncomfortable to do this exercise without feeling resistance on my lower back. what would you recommend?
@YOGAthletica7 жыл бұрын
first and foremost, you always have to be sensitive and mindful to your body and injuries. if something feels intuitively wrong, it may not be the right exercise for you. but... as to your discomfort: there were a lot of different movements in this video? was there one in particular that hurt? or all of them? my suggestion to mitigate any pain or strain in your low back...when you are lying down, try to keep your entire low back flat to the floor by maintaining a little lift in your hips and engaging your core strongly to create breadth, rather than roundness in your lower back. keep in mind that your core is the back of your back and provides the support to keep your back safe. the secret to lower back safety lies in your core engagement. have you seen my "secret to all of yoga video"? kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpesYqJuipukg6M that video shows you how to effectively engage the core to keep your practice safe and strong. if you are feeling pain in the boat/seated positions, try to create a little backbend in your upper back on the movement to extend your spine and minimize compression. i hope those suggestions help! if not, there may be better core sequences for your specific needs. :)

I get stuck from squatting ppse to standing. Can't seem to figure out how to even engage to stand up.
@YOGAthletica2 жыл бұрын
Can you do a full malasana? The key here is to have your feet very, very close to your hips and try to lean your body weight so far forward that your hips have no choice but to lift. At that point, you press strongly into your feet, while keeping your forward-leaning momentum, to get up. Hope that helps!
@kukulcan91192 жыл бұрын
@@YOGAthletica I can do malasana so I will give it a try with your tips. Thanks!

Hi, I have on doubt like for core activation in yoga, will we use abdominal bracing or abdominal hollowing. please could you clarify me.
@YOGAthletica3 жыл бұрын
the way I suggest is more of a bracing than a hollowing. 🙏
@rajenderreddykoduru79283 жыл бұрын
@@YOGAthletica thank you for your gentle reply, please could you make video by providing exactly difference between brace and hollow in your style.
@YOGAthletica3 жыл бұрын
check out my "secret to all of yoga" videos to see how I explain bracing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpesYqJuipukg6M I don't work with hollowing beyond, say, in a lunging context like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qISvdqmqZp58rZY
