I just purchased a new Nikon F 35 mm f/1.8 for my D5500. It is AMAZING! I'll still occasionally use the 18-55 and the 70-300. But this 35 mm f/ 1.8 is off the chain!

Yes I couldn't agree more the 35mm 1.8 and 20mm 1.8 are my favorite prime lenses right now for my D5500

@@Boogie.702 Of course, but remember the D5500 is a cropped sensor camera. That 20 mm is not really a 20 mm. And the 35 mm is more like a nifty 50. I'm still looking for a wide angle for the D5500.
