Yeah I live in Florida too, but luckily I never had a problem with my cold air. But everytime it rained good, I always was cautious for and deep puddles.

Ive been thinking about getting my windows tinted but im not sure what percentage would be best. Do you wish you had gone with like 20٪ or 25٪ instead of the 15٪. Also what type of tints did you get and what was the cost... Also you probably have a backup camera installed which probably helps a lot at night but i don't so im not sure if too dark tint would be a good idea for me..

It all depends on how much you drive at night, if you only do it once in a while, 15% is not to bad. But if you drive a lot at night I would say 25% because that’s what I have on my Camry and the visibility is much better then my corolla which has 15%. Also a backup camera is nice to have if you have to backup at night!

I have 20% I never notice a difference at night between 20% and no tint. Expect when turning it can be hard to see a curb or the yellow line in the middle but I make wide turns around curbs and sharp turn when I'm turning on a road that has a ditch on side.

Yeah 20% isn’t nearly as bad as 5%. Some people can barley see out the side mirrors with only 5%.

I think that visibility through tinted windows has also to do with film quality of the brand you've used. I have 50% windshield and 35% all around... I don't think that 20-35% all around is a problem at night but windshield is definitely not the most useful and practical mode to do on a daily if you drive a lot at night. The only benefits of tinted windshield is looks and privacy especially when parked outside. But since i have light tint all around you can still see inside if there are alot of street lights around.

50% tint is a decent tint to put on a windshield. It’s enough to give some privacy and help keep the heat out. But when people do 15% on the windshield, they probably can’t see much unless they have super bright headlights!

i daily a static 09 corolla dropped almost 3 inches all the way around with 15% full windshield and 5% the rest and its just funny at this point im fully tucked to the wheel in the front and about half sidewall in the rear. plan on going full catless as well

You pretty much got all the things I was saying! 😂 But I practically do too, the only thing I don’t have is my windshield tinted. I like to see as good as I can at night. But I bet the tint really helps keep the sun out during the day!

I deliver pizzas every night. I have 15% on all my windows and 35% on my windshield. I have no issues seeing at night, as long as you have good headlights you will be good.

Yeah it really makes a difference if you have good bright headlights. And I guess the more your drive with it, you get used to it.

Same, don’t know the percentage but it dark for the back 5 and medium for the front 2 and I can’t see much with vland headlights

I drive my 95 corolla 5 speed everyday, 5% tint all windows except windshield very dark at night. I bought it like that. Also someone cut the front springs and lowered the front. Feels like crap on the potholes. I added a short ram because the air filter box wouldn’t stay bolted on. I have a front bumper license plate protector because people back into my car when they parallel park. My exhaust? Aftermarket Headers,no cat straight pipe but stock muffler. Bought it like that. It sounds good but for only me to hear which is good. Had it a year already. Put 18k already and getting 32-39 mpg.

I have them on my 13 corolla.. they look nice but one did come loose after a car wash..so i removed it. havent gotten around to cleaning the really sticky m3 type tape residue. Not sure how to clear it off without scratching the paint.

You must be used to it, because I have always driven with about 15-20% tint. And I was in a car with limo tint, and I could not even see out the side mirrors unless there was some car lights shining.

On the same coil over setup but I tuck on one side and the other ain’t but the side that’s not is lower on the actual coil over so I have yet to dial them in so I can see how it bad, on stocks still😅

Yeah coilovers make everything a bit harder to do, when you are super low. But once you get them dialed in, everything going to look really nice! Also I hate when people complain about modified cars. They are our cars, and we can do whatever we want with them!
