I use spring water and rose water mixture. Once every 3 days and I use a light oil at least once a week. Also being outside in the morning for a few mins worked wonders for my locs.

I am in love with your locs!!! I really wish you would leave your grey! it adds so much character, but I totally understand that grey is not for and does not appeal to everyone. Either way though, it's gorgeous!!!

OK so you have two strand twist in your hair the front part is aLittle bit more like micro two strand twist and the rest looks like regular two strand twist because the back is a little bit big it’s beautiful but in the long run it’s gonna start looking different totally different anyway nice journey

I absolutely love love love your microlocs!!! They are gorgeous! Do you swim? If so, did you did something special to your hair before or after the pool? Did you go to the beach? Sand in the hair? Also what hair dye to you use?

I love how dark and shiny your hair is. That retie every 5 weeks is scary. Is there really enough new growth? I can see how this could cause traction alopecia, especially as the hair gets longer and heavier.

Loving your locs! I’m use to doing my retie every 5 wks . But u just found a Loctition she will be maintaining my locs for me . But she told me 8 wks is best . What is your intake ? I know you use to do 8 wks . Why did you stop ?

My main thing is trying to maintain it myself in the event that I either can't afford, or we get locked down or something. I can barely keep my hair braided or put it in a ponytail, cuz I have a terrible shoulder injury that restricts alot of movement. I have no choice, especially as I get older, to rely on other people to do my hair for me.

I thought I was the only one tbh. My hair loves regular water. Especially when I'm taking a shower and the steam penetrates through it. I might just start using only plain water and sealing it with olive oil. What are the pros you've experienced with using more water and less oil?

My husband literally said exactly the same yours did and I had to show him Sisterlocks. He doesn’t like traditional locs, I would have only got Sisterlocks.

And girl it’s not wroth it trying to retig your own hair it takes to long first of all number 1 I like to be pampered by other I’m one of those who just don’t have the time so that another reason why I sister locks cuz it’s is a low maintenance of pose to going to my hair trying to pay so much money every 6 wks trig begins to get my hair slick lock with a lace front wig
