Always love the advice you give! My son was very aware of STRANGER DANGER, he would smack anyone in the face he didn’t know 😂

Hey thanks for making these videos! Do u have one for 7 months? My baby just turned 7 months on the 18th and I’m always looking to these for guidance/reassurance that she’s on track.

I love your videos...so informative. Are these milestones to achieve by 6 months or by 7 months?

I first want to start off by saying that I absolutely love your video’s! I have a serious dilemma that I’m dealing with. My fiancé is a wonderful father but we seriously butt heads when it comes to tummy time. He hates to see our son even look like he’s upset or about to cry, so tummy is nearly a no-go for him. He picks him up no sooner than I put him down. His argument is that children have become healthy, balanced (etc.) since the beginning of time, without tummy time, balls, boppy’s and the likes. And in all honesty, they have. What would you suggest I do or say to convince him that it’s a positive thing?

Wonderful question! While it is true that an emphasis on tummy time is relatively new, babies are also now spending much more time in carriers or positioners (car seats, bouncers, swings, bumbos, etc) which means babies in general, are spending far less time on the floor exploring and gaining the strength and endurance to move through their developmental positions independently. Also consider that with the relatively new “back to sleep” (babies sleeping on their backs to reduce SIDS) recommendation, newborns are spending much more time on their backs in the very early days which means they need opportunities to stretch, strengthen and feel both sides of their body. 🤍 Hope this helps! Xx

I wouldn't worry about it too much! You can do the tummy time with your baby yourself, but my second sat without support and started "army crawling" at the end of 3 months with zero focus on tummy time bc I was constantly trying to keep up with our 2 year old! 😂 Point being that they'll gain strength on their own even when you're not necessarily focusing on it! Best wishes to you and your family!

Ho Nekole, thank you for your time in doing these videos! My lo is 5 .5 month old and he spends large parte of the day at the floor and on tummy time. I saw him like six times rolling in North directions almost one month ago, but now...no way!! I'm afraid that he is having a regression for some reasons...or (hopefully) he is just lazy?!

How did it turn out with your little one? I’ve noticed sometimes baby will work a lot on a new skill for several days and then not use it much for a while.

Depends on the baby. Some may be able to while others aren’t quite ready 🤍
