I am a 66 year old female. I am 5 ft. Tall and have been over 200 lbs. for 30 years-sometimes a little mote, sometimes a little less, but always over 200 lbs. of course, I am diabetic. I weighed in at 212 lbs at my last doctor appointment. I am not happy. I started a carnivore diet 9 days ago and, I’m not sure but , I think I’m sleeping a little better. My family, however, is absolutely up in arms! Phone calls and lectures about how I am clogging my arteries and killing myself. When I hear about anxiety levels dropping I am really interested in that. So, I think I will keep going fora month and see what happens. I am happier eating this way and have always been annoyed by vegetables and starvation.

Blessings on your journey! Give Carnivore or Beef-butter-bacon-eggs (BBBE) a try for 60 days and see what will happen. you will not harm yourself any worse in 60 days. as long as you do not cheat and stay away from all carbs and sugar, you will have AMAZING success!

Hi Camilla, Im 65, increase your fat, animal fat with the meat. Also be sure to take a non artificial sweetened electrolite....I buy a liquid called Keto Chow and add it to my coffee or cup of hot water in the morning. You need to get ready because in 60 days or less of pure meat and fat your inflammation will go down and suddenly you will drop water and fat. Get Redmonds salt and use as much as you want. Don't count calories. I dropped 45 pounds without trying in 21 days. My family went crazy at first , telling me I was going to kill myself. Now after 15 months they are following me. Some good doctors on KZbin are Doctors Berry, Baker, Jason Fung, Chafee, Mason. There are 3 people who very honestly share their obesity/carnivore journeys, Mikaela Peterson, Dante Ferrigino, and Carnivorous Me. Me? I almost died and I decided to change my diet and live. I am off ALL meds , a lifetime of allergies are GONE, grinding depression and high anxiety are Gone, all intestinal pain and bleeding are gone. I had NO IDEA I was so malnutritioned. After being carnivore 90 days I have tried to reintroduce one real food at a time, this way I have isolated the foods that really bother me. I get very sick and have terrible joint pain when I drink milk, cream. I tolerate high quality aged cheese. I can't eat bell peppers, purple onions. I don't eat any processed foods or artificial sweetners. No seed oils. Life is entirely different. I did not try to lose weight, I just naturally have settled into around 140lbs. Many blessings to you on your journey!

Camilla there are so many doctors who talk about the benefits of this diet in case you want to share info w/ your family (i know poorly informed family opinions can be frustrating) Dr. Ken Berry and his wife Neisha (who is a nurse,) Dr. Paul Saladino, Dr. Elizabeth Bright they are all great resources and you can find them on KZbin. Good luck on your journey! I no longer have panic attacks from eating this way. it's been really amazing!

Hi I am month in and I am sixty. I can get on floor and do all the sits ups I use to as kid. I fly out bed every morning like use to as a kid. In fact I feel twenty and all medical problems including high blood pressure and asthma are gone. I am so happy and share this diet with everyone I know. My coworkers can see the difference in me and they are all turning to carno. My skins is also smooth and not dry anymore. Very tight as well my hair is thick and does not fall out. Marion, hang in there. Heal first. Nourish your body and 0% carbs. When your body feels nourished and safe… it will start dropping the fat it doesn’t need. I've been keto for a while and just started investigating carnivore recently. I can't believe it's 2023 and the medical community is not embracing this yet. In one month, I lost 17 lbs. and I can go up stairs without getting out of breath. Whenever I eat carbs now, it feels like someone injected gasoline in my veins and lit a match.

the anxiety thing is real. I've been doing a ketovore style diet for about 5 months now. Primarily carnivore but w/ occasional keto treats. I used to have horrible anxiety -especially as a passenger in a car. Full on panic attacks when in the passenger seat of a car, bus (anything that moves.) My husband has always let me drive because if I drive, no anxiety (weird.) Since the diet change the anxiety is gone. I can be in the passenger seat now and zero panic attacks. it's been one of the most amazing changes. These panic attacks have been happening for over 20 years and now completely gone! The weight loss has been great as well :D

Keep going, you have proved how much better your life can be when you eat this way ..... I have enjoyed getting smaller, being able to fit in smaller clothes, the psoriasis on my face was horrible for years and now is completely gone ..... We watched your video today. EXCELLENT JOB! We've been Carnivore for 113 and 106. I started 7 days after my husband. Much of what you covered is spot on. I also found I needed to stop eating cheese 😔 to help my skin. The benefits waaay outway the sacrifices. We went to a steak restaurant for his bday a few days ago, and the graham cracker crusted key lime pie was free. I LOVE key lime pie. I always ate the back of the pie, and he would eat the front. We did that. That night, I had a raging headache at 2 am. It went away by morning. Also, my shoulder pain came back. Interesting. We love all the same benefits you mentioned, minus female stuff, as I'm post menopausal. Oh, yes, one more benefit!! I haven't dyed the grey out of my hair for almost 72 days (we all know that hair grows about 1/2" each month) and my hair is growing back blonde!!! 😊 yes, dishwater blonde, but in addition to my weight now being what I weighed in High School, my hair color is now the same too!!!

You just started your list and I'm laughing at number one and the "finding the words" problem. My mom always had that a bit when I was growing up and by college I'd do it sometimes too. She always told me, "Remember this when you're older (she'd have been all of 40-45) because you'll think you're losing it. But if you remember you've been doing this all your life, you won't be so worried." Wise words that worked for awhile. Until suddenly began losing names for things as you did. By then my daughter was in jr high and she started threatening to make me a set of flash cards of names of common items. We laughed hysterically, but it wasn't really funny. I went low carb and it got a hundred times better. Then I went keto and it got even better. Now I'm ketovore and I no longer feel frightened. I still have to search for the occasional word (it's like my brain needs to flip through a Rolodex for the word sometimes) but it's back to how it was when I was young.

I have cheated on ice cream bars for 3 days and plantar fascia came back. Oh so painful. Not realizing it’s inflammation. My sinuses are better, my arthritis pain is gone. My list would be similar to yours and your husband's. I'd replace hip pain with knee pain - I need double replacements but (long story) can't bring myself to do it. This has taken me backwards from walker to cane to freedom and MUCH less pain and stiffness. I'd replace the monthly moodiness with depression. I'm also generally a very positive person but was going through some very difficult and trying times and had become despondent and depressed. I've got my sunny outlook back. And I'd replace the libido (post early menopause and live alone) with migraines. I suffered all my life and as an adult suffered from several different types. I had migraines more days than not, some completely debilitating and others less severe but lasting literally months. Gone! Just disappeared! I now have a handful a year. THAT'S my biggest gain, for sure. And for the afternoon energy slump, I used to literally not be able to stay awake. I HAD to take a nap every afternoon! I would just pretty much pass out. This literally saved my sanity and my life.

Almost never sore no matter how much I do. Deeper sleep Only go to the store for coffee, spices, plain sparkling water, pork rinds and household goods. Everything else comes from the local butcher shop. Food budget is under control (no thanks to current administration) VERY little time in the kitchen Clear smooth skin (although I’m still hopeful that some autophagy might heal some acne scars) Lost one clothing size… Hoping for one more Clean teeth (my dentist says I have amazing gums for my age) Perfect blood pressure COOL, HUH?!?!😂😂😂😂

When I saw your before and after pictures, my first thought was that you were just wearing different outfits. While I could see a little bit of weight lost on your husband, I thought it wasn't very striking. When you said there was only a month separation in those photos, my jaw dropped! I have decided to go full carnivore starting April 1st... (Oh, I literally just realized that's April fool's day. I didn't think that one through.) I was very excited to hear both lists, because each of them addressed many questions I have about the carnivore diet and what results may be possible for me that I haven't heard in other videos. Itchy skin, deeper sleep, quicker healing, less anxiety, easier and more effective exercising, and a few others I'm not remembering. Thank you.

I went Keto / Carnivore 14 months ago and I have had zero bloating and zero gas. I also gave up drinking 2 years ago. I do not eat any seed oils, sugars, carbs nor processed foods. I read food labels. The best part of reading food labels is that ALL inflammation disappears. When I am offered non-human food I just say no because it means inflammation, oxidation and unbalanced homeostasis. Ketovore is proper human behaviour.

Since I specialize in medical translations my brain has to work 100% most of the time so I'm starting to panic and seriously considering going fully carnivore. I've always been suffering from severe migraines, cyclic vomiting syndrome, GI issues and sarcopenia but at this point I feel like I'm at my wits end. I'm tired all the time and after 3-4PM I don't even know the answers to the simplest questions. A bicep is composed of two striations of muscle. Tennis, aggressive exercise, or heavy lifting can tear it. I am female and tore mine during a "boot camp" class. Luckily mine was able to be repaired. Her husband got the "Popeye"-that is what they call it bc his arm will always look like he is "flexing": his muscle bc the muscle actually curls up in a ball gathering at the crease in your elbow. It is permanent.

I am on keto, and leaning more towards carnivore in my meal selection - going more meat and far less veggies. Once or twice a week, I'll do just carnivore for a meal. Meat, eggs, cheese. I love it. It does seem to clear my head, like you say here. My blood pressure did lower as well. Even my cholesterol number came down. My wife has high bp issues. I'd love for her to try a carnivore diet as well but so far she's not sold on the idea. She also has pretty rough indigestion issues, and she's afraid it would upset that even more, as well as raise her cholesterol and bp. Her issues are genetic, as her parents have them too. So she's worried that these results wouldn't show up for her due to feeling her condition is genetic. What do you think?

Hello. I'm really enjoying your videos and I'm dipping my toes into the carnivor/keto diet. What still bothers me, is the ethical side of eating so much meat. I can't afford it if I was to only buy the grass fed, free range, high welfare etc meat (plus it's hard to get where I live anyway). And I hate this. Plus, I know it would not be sustainable if the whole world did it, surely?! What are your thoughts? I heard you talk about praying on it which helped you. I'm a believer too, but it's not helped alleviate this anxiety. Much love xx

Hello . In the book of Genesis before the flood humans eat grains fruits and veggies nuts etc. After the flood Genesis nine verse three God has given us all things meat and herbs that has to be your primary diet. You can eat cheaper cuts of meat it doesn't have to be grass fed so long as it's meat and it is sustainable for a long time because you're cutting out other expensive things like sweets chocolate ,fruit and vegetables pasta and rice grains etc. When you're not buying these things and you just buy meat it works out the same! and you'll be eating chicken sausages bacon . Please watch a few channels and see how they manage they buy meat when there's a sale on and they'll bulk bay what is cheap on sale . As for me personally I've not started this diet yet! because like you say meat can be expensive so what I am doing every time I do my shop, if I see something on sale I will buy two or three items of it and put it in the freezer once I've got a full drawer of meat poultry ,fish ,cream and butters I will start the diet and whatever I eat I will replace so it's not cost that much. I do hope this helps . have a blessed day Jesus Christ is returning soon 😇🇬🇧❤️🇮🇱

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. I am so glad my videos are helping you. ❤️ I do not buy any fancy grass fed, grass finished meat. You buy what you can afford. End of story! There isn’t a single carnivore doctor that will say buy what you cannot afford or have access to. So don’t worry about art. Eating meat is the priority! 😊 Now, if you have the means to get the “best of the best” then by all means go for it. But most people don’t and that will not affect your health outcomes. So please don’t worry about the quality of meat you buy. As far as sustainably, mass agriculture is not sustainable. Humans clear thousands of acres of land to plant crops and it ruins the soil. It literally makes the land a desert and you have to spray chemicals all over the ground because the soil is so depleted. Please listen to this podcast by Dr. Anthony Chaffee ( The Plant Free MD - episode 28 ) that talks all about this and it will totally change your mind and understanding about the “sustainability” issue. You and his podcast on any podcast app. It might be on youtube as well. PLEASE CHECK IT OUT! Also, we have been taught in schools so much false information about animals and how it is bad for the environment. Animal poop literally is the BEST NUTRIENTS for the soil. not man made chemicals to grow plants. God would never put animals on the Earth for it to harm the Earth and for it to harm up. The Creator makes everything in perfect harmony. 😊 Men and Woman in places of authority that do not believe in God are the ones that are feeding this misinformation and they are the ones literally paying the schools to teach it. Bill Gates, Big Pharm, and the Big Food industry pay the world to push their false info about meat and the environment. If you truly believe in God you need to TRUST GOD and his creation. Go to him, truly trust and amazing things will happen. ❤️ PLEASE listen to that podcast! This is the link from my podcast app and so unless you download this app, it won’t work. but you can look up the episode on your app. podcast.app/episode-28-animals-regenerative-agriculture-how-animals-can-save-the-environment-and-reverse-deserts-e307622008/? I hate to give up my yoghurt because it acts like my dessert. And butter 😩. But this is really frustrating me. And my nails are in worse shape than ever. I would be so thrilled if I could report the same benefit as you! I am trying to walk more and avoid using my phone and watching TV too late in the evening. Yesterday I had an Epsom salt bath instead and also did some journalling before lights out.

I’m really sorry! sometimes, if you have A LOT of internal healing to do. your body will not be focusing on weight loss but on the internal healing First. Don’t give up! you are right about the dairy. Too much dairy will stop or slow down the weight loss in many people. You can try 30 days of BBBE (only Beef-Butter-Bacon-Eggs) and see how that is working for you. If you are only doing carnivore for weight loss, I would really evaluate what is important to you. You shouldn’t do carnivore for only weight loss but as a true lifestyle what will bring you healing and longevity. If you are seeing improvements in other areas of your life: mental, physical, emotional….you are improving. It just might not be in the weight loss area yet. Stay strong, get a bit more strict on your dairy, increase your fat intake and make sure you are eating ZERO sugar and ZERO carbs! Blessing on your journey!

@@robertsontribe yes, and thank you very much for the encouragement. I’m thankful for so many reasons for the carnivore diet, but socially, it’s a bit of a downer for me. I was really committed at first, but now the extreme strictness of it is discouraging me. I was keto for 5 1/2 years so I guess I was hoping for different results by cutting out all of the fruits and vegetables. I’ve done great concerning that, but when it comes to the dairy and the coffee, it’s tough for me. Perhaps if I saw more results, I’d be encouraged by those. Wow, i have thought about how it would be to travel now when I am on carnivore cause every time I travel to another country I am constipated non stop, so I really hope that I will skip this also 😍

Thank you for a great video. Your husband might benefit from milk thistle and NAC supplements. If he had a fatty liver due to diet, then chances are the liver still needs help and this in turn can help with those remaining pounds he wants to lose. Good luck and thanks again.

Thanks for this! Question... are you two drinking any alcohol during your carnivore diet? If so what types / quantities / frequency?
@robertsontribe
@robertsontribe Жыл бұрын
Great question! I personally do not drink alcohol. I just don’t like how it makes me feel. Never really have. In the last 6 month of carnivore my husband and I drank at a wedding. So that was more than average! lol But after that wedding, I have only drank 1 drink. A vodka and lemonade. (it is the only think I’ll drink). My husband really enjoys beer but hardly ever drinks it now. He really notices a big difference in his sleep and mental state for days after having a couple of beers. So now, unless it is a holiday or family birthday party type of deal he doesn’t drink at all. And when he does, it will be 4 beers or less typically.

Do you also do intermittent fasting? I loved your daughter peeking in and rolling her eyes.

I honestly do not do intermittent fasting. I just eat when I’m hungry. I guess I intuitively do it but I don’t make any effort.

Started carnivore 30 days ago and am down 15 pounds, more or less, since my weight is going up and down 3-5 pounds per day. I am eating 1-2 small meat and eggs meals a day (sick of eating this BTW...don't even feel like eating anymore). I have been stuck at my current weight for 9 days...drinking water only 6-7 bottles a day plus meat and eggs cooked only in butter. Keto strips say I am in large ketosis (second one from the end using ReliOn Strips from Walmart). My stomach fat is going down but my weight loss is stalled...can't figure that one out but it is depressing to basically be starving myself and still not losing weight. I do take a handful of supplements (desiccated liver, organs, bone marrow, tallow and multivitamin) as I KNOW I am denying my body of the nutrients it needs. I am 60, 5'8" 205, stocky build, still pretty active.

Congratulations on your current success! I would really like you to focus on your overall health and not the weight loss. When you focus on only the weight loss you will get discouraged. PLEASE just put the scale away and just eat meat and fat and just experience the HEALING your body is going through. You will have weight stalls. My husband has been at a weight stall for a could months now but his body is still changing. It is called Body Composition Change. You will still lose fat, gain or maintain your muscle (which weights more than fat) and still be slimming down. I want you to focus on how you feel rather than a number on the scale. You are also healing SO MUCH internally. You are healing your gut and when your body is focusing on your internal healing, you will also stall. Eat when you are hungry until your are full. it is truly that simple and you will start experiencing your BEST health. I wish your blessings on this marathon on health!

If you don't mind me asking, when you say the flow of your cycle changed, do you mean it got heavier?
@robertsontribe
@robertsontribe Жыл бұрын
great question! my cycle would be 5-7 days long and it would be light to medium. Now, It is really heavy for 3-4 days and it is done. It is like, my body wants to get rid of the cervical lining as fast as possible.

I know these are probably stupid questions but I’m new to this. Do you eat any fruits or veggies or strictly just dairy and meat? Also, I have high blood pressure & high cholesterol, is bacon, pork & beef going to make these problems worse? I really need to get away from sugars because I’m a diabetic (insulin resistant) & the chemically processed foods… that cancer causing crap has got to go!

No question is stupid. you are just at a different point in your journey. Please watch videos and playlists from Dr. Ken Berry. He will change your life on this diet! I do not eat any plants. I do plan on occasionally eating onions, peppers and avocados again in the summer but only occasionally. That would be considered ketoVore but other than that. I don’t currently eat any plants. only animal products. When you combine sugar and grains with high fat meat it clogs your arteries. When you are only eating meat, carb and sugar free dairy it will not cause the plaque in your arteries. it will actually take that plaque away in the long term.

Did your dog also go Carnivore too? .... there are heaps of videos about the benefits for humans, but I would love to hear stories about how dogs with arthritis or other health issues were healed by replacing tinned food & biscuits with just raw beef. Is it possible, that the Carnivore way of life would help them too?
@robertsontribe

I have a few friends that feed their dog a raw meat diet. a pure carnivore diet since they were puppies. They grow to be almost twice the size of the typical breed. They are very healthy dogs! We have not transitioned our miniature golden doodle over to a pure carnivore diet but he gets all of our scraps everyday. Of coarse he loves it. LOL We don’t spend as much of dry dog food anymore. Dr. Anthony Chaffee has a podcast episode where he talks about how the Golden Retriever should actually live to be 25 years old based on it’s DNA and because we feed them crap dry food that is not ancestorily appropriate, it only lives to be about 10-12 years old. If you are looking for a good podcast check out The Plant Free MD

Then when you find out that the more raw the food you eat the less you need. Less vitamin loss due to cooking.
