Really appreciate you highlighting the cargo capacity. Too many ignore this key information.

We were very surprised that it seemed that the dealers didn’t go out of their way to present these numbers to buyers. Overloaded RV’s are a huge safety concern. If you haven’t already check out our video on capacity. Thanks for the comment.

After your video on the "super duper C's," I was looking forward to this video. Thanks for posting. That said, this was brutal. - All three Viennas are so puny; those "small kids" need not be in the bunk spaces in the cab because they would be driving those play things. I do commend your dedication, bended knees and all. - The Regency's odd kitchen/tv layout and harmful furniture (nearly took your finger off) begin to explain the company's unfortunate situation. The rear lounge was a redeeming factor. - Leisure disappointed with the coffin shower and a Regency-styled, driver-facing kitchen sink/tv combo; however, the LED lighting and large rear windows were appealing. - The Jayco made a respectable showing - it was the only one worthy of consideration by a couple or small family. Natural and artificial lighting and bunk in cab were pros. Then came the woven finish on floor and walls. By the way, Jayco is a Thor brand, so they did pay attention. :) Overall, you guys were marvelous. Thank you for showing these rigs.

There can be no comparison between the Super C's and Class C's. The amount of cargo capacity provided by the larger Feightliner and International chassis allows for heavier, higher quality cabinetry and components. That being said, it's always interesting (and fun) to see how the manufacturers balance the weight consideration with the design elements they include in the final package. You make some great observations, and we appreciate your comment, Thanks.

You have gotten very educated at this. Good job. Uber important discussion about the CCC. Note, though, that Norcold makes good and bad refrigerators IMO. The leaking coils on an absorption type set my coach on fire, so I always avoid that type. I would want to know whether absorption, compressor or residential, etc. I look for vents outside behind the refrigerator and fins inside the main compartment of the refrigerator and that will mean it is an absorption refrigerator. The Jayco has an absorption fridge.
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
OMG, we are so sorry about the fire. One of the hardest things we have found about including the refrigerator type in our reviews is that many times (more than you would think) the sales people have zero idea what type of refrigerator it is. We will try to get that information out as we do future reviews. Thanks,
@loumadonna22624 ай бұрын
Thanks for the C reviews. Interesting difference in the ccc on the Viennas. Assume some of it is the bunk over the cab and maybe the murphy bed. We have the vrml, so no bunk and the ccc is not 1100, sround 800.
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
We have been trying to get a straight answer out of the dealers we have spoken to, but it seems that even they are unsure about why there is such a difference. We have speculated that it might be due to one or more of the following: The new Mercedes 4 cylinder twin turbo diesel engine being lighter with more horsepower and torque, the deletion of propane tanks in newer units, the difference in weight between lithium and AGM batteries, and of course the items you mentioned about the beds and cabinets. We invite anyone with insight on this to please share with the group. Thanks for your post.

On the leisure unity upfront was a space for the table between those two bench seats. So you can sit there with your coffee and watch the morning news.
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
We thought that those seats could also be used as leg rests for the reversed front seats, but we weren't certain. Thanks for the information.

The OCCC (CCC) is SO unstated in any of these videos.. THANK YOU for highlighting it in yours. Do you (or anyone reading this) know of a website or PDF that lists all of them (in one place)? Love to find some government or industry RV stats posting.
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
You are very welcome. We searched and searched and not only could we not find a central location where the CCC numbers were listed, but we couldn't even find them on the dealer or manufacturer sites. The only way we can get an accurate idea of the CCC is to inspect the door frames, and even then, we couldn't find them in some cases. We'll keep listing them in our reviews. Thanks.
@karenbarnaby804 ай бұрын
The first RV well, like you said the cargo weight. They should work on getting that up. Plus, I kind of thought the seating was odd. Two sofa areas side-by-side? I think where the bed drops down, maybe that should just be a bench type that is separated into too small seats (no backs) with a pop-up table in between. If you’re taking kids, then there’s someplace they can sit and play cards or a game of some type. Besides from that area, you can’t see that television!
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
We would love to see a dinette/Murphy bed combination. That way we could have our recliners and a dinette with the benefits of a Murphy bed. We're not sure how they would engineer that, but your idea of a pop-up table seems like it could be doable. We agree that television placement is imperative. Thanks for the post.

Rear Murphy bed is very nice.

Yes, we have to agree on that. Dan was in love with that rear lounge with the super duper view.

FYI, the one feature that distinguishes a class C from a class B is the overhang over the front cab.
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
Wow, we have received so many comments with differing opinions about the true definition. The consensus view is that a Class B is a van, and a Class C is on a cutaway chassis. You will, however hear dealers and others referring to RV's on a cutaway chassis without a bed over the driver as Class B Pluses. We will leave it to you to decide which is which. Thanks for the comment.
@barryholiday89984 ай бұрын
@@halffasttravelers2702 this is why the main differentiating factor is the bunk over the cab.

@rogerkarstofsky9208 We really like the Tiffin Wayfarer (Not a B Plus but similar in size), but you can't deny the quality of the Airstream Atlas. Leisure makes a very high quality RV as well. Renegade is also known for it's high quality coaches too. Additionally, we were very impressed with the Pleasure Way Plateau. Hope this helps.

I could go for the twim bed option if it wasn't for the class c being on a mercedez chassis.

We've met a bunch of people who prefer the Ford chassis, and we have always been partial to the Mercedes. However, Ford has made so many improvements in the cockpit features and styling that we may become converts.

@@halffasttravelers2702 I have a 2019 Ford Ranger with the factory tow package and tow my 2022 Geo Pro travel trailer with her. I love that truck which I ordered when they first came out. To this day, when I am running errands I will deliberately take the long way around just to drive her a little longer. Her name is Roxy and my trailer is ShortStack.

@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
These RV's will either be on the 2500 or 3500 chassis. As a general rule, if you see dually rear wheels you can be relatively certain it is a 3500. We'll try to point it out in the future. Thanks for the request.

You always call the 120 volt plugs 12 volt, why ?
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
It's simple, Dan is half fast. All this time he has been referring to them as 12 volt. We checked. Of course, he blames old age, but that's no excuse. Of course they are 120V outlets running off the inverter or shore power. You get a gold star for being the first to point it out. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. We really do appreciate it.

We're not sure which unit you're referring to. All of these are below 26 feet in length.

Nice presentation on small class Cs. However, wasting time on Regency, while interesting, is really pointless since they are out of business. The VIENNA series looks attractive. But look at the bed lengths. 72” beds? Really. Who sleeps with the head up against the headboard? If you want to get noticed, start championing manufacturers with 76” to 80” beds. That includes, Bs, Cs and even some As. And it’s not just motorhomes. Trailers and 5th wheels are guilty as well. Nice video. Thanks
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
It's a shame about Regency, because we feel that the more competition the better in this sector. We completely agree about the bed lengths, but Dan doesn't seem to mind his feet over the end of the bed. It bothers the heck out of Rose. We are glad you posted this here. This is one of those things that RV buyers tend to gloss over or not even notice when they make the purchase, but they surely realize it the first night they spend in the RV. Thanks for posting this.
@Lracnolip4 ай бұрын
This is our crappy North Americain selection compaed to Euro and Asian choices. We call 26 feet small? Anything that can not fit in a standard parking spot is big. Too bad our governments do not support compition, to improve the rv market. Look how our cars improved once german and Japan cars were allowed to be sold here.
@halffasttravelers27024 ай бұрын
You make a good point. We are all for free market competition, but it seems as though the deck is stacked against the European brands. Maybe some day. Thanks for the post.

Some constructive criticism, your video was all over the place. Start on one side and work your way around. Next stop grabbing the camera from your partner. My wife thought that was very annoying. Take a breath, slow down and give the facts. Good luck and keep making videos.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. Yes, Dan tends to go pretty fast when filming these comparison videos, because he has to fit so many models in without boring the viewers. That first Renegade vienna, its cc only 725lbs 😱. Geezers u pretty much have no choice but to be maxing out the chassis, now how long do u think this thing is gonna last doing that eh at $170G usa, that's a bit frightening 😬. The 3rd one, 25vtbn has great storage, cute little thing, but like them all, it's missing a back storage to put a folding ebike n scooter, like the european class c rv's make. And yeah i hate those weave floors, I'm not into brush scrubbing a floor clean, it's another make work project as carpet was. Been following leisure travel vans for years....love em, but again insanely priced imo, like a lot of these mini C's are. I couldn't consider any of these class c's because i want my folding ebike n scooter to be out of view n protected. Not pinned to the back outside grate rack....just screaming to be stolen 🙄. Tons of Europe models to choose from with great back end storage, but not in NA. 🫤. So truck camper wins again 😂. (Yeah, as u see i keep trying to see if anything would up my present setup lol). Another great review guys! 🍻

As always, you give us a very detailed account of real world concerns and once again we really appreciate it. We are hoping to do a Truck Camper comparison at some point in the future, but they are very hard to come by in South Florida. As a last resort we will find them at the RV Supershow in Tampa next January, but we hope to find some prior to that. Every time we post a video we look forward to your input. Thanks.
