there's a difference between getting 20 in the flow of the offense, and trying to get 20. As much as he likes jacking up bad shots (early in the shot clock), when he starts passing up wide open shots, and throwing a temper tantrum when his teammate that he passed to passing the ball to someone else, that's stat padding. And of course, there's his teammates boxing out for him to get rebounds...

Tod Wilkinson you just said the dumbest thing ever 10 assists means he passed at least 10 times
@Udon_Noodle5 жыл бұрын
@Tod Wilkinson lmfao! If his teammates could hit shots he'd average over 15 asts that season. Saying he didnt pass effectively while averaging over 10 asts as the main scoring option is more than his fair share of contributions with the ball. I guess Cp3 Is ball hogging if he touches double digit assists to? This stat padding narrative needs to stop, his MVP season was purely organic.
@Udon_Noodle5 жыл бұрын
And dont even compare a PG to a QB in a much more team oriented sport like Football that comparrison is totally trash.
@Udon_Noodle5 жыл бұрын
@Tod Wilkinson You sound stupid as fuck my guy, one snap of the football requires more team coordination than anything in the NBA. Everyone has to do their job for every possession or it wont end well, their is no one guy picking up the slack for multiple others in football; it's just not happening. A QB has to account for every single person on the field, by default that alone is better than managing a 5 man offense. Therefore comparing a PG to a QB is the stupidest comparison and completely invalidates any sports knowledge you think you have. Also if you knew just about anything about the sport having 10 assists doesnt mean you only passed the ball 10 times, especially with the amount of zone and passing lane and coverage in the NBA now. To even sniff at double digit assists you're going to have to move the ball around period unless the entire team is catching and shooting. However you cant see that because you're too busy with this mans nuts in your mouth hating then actually watching games. We see whose really stupid here by equating an apple to an orange.

Basically: 1. LeBron - Called himself King James and "Chosen One" before even making the NBA. Not being clutch enough. Plain and simple. Didn't win enough for the talent he had. 2. Brodie - I agree about the Mike Conley Comparison. Except that Mike Conley is humble; Brodie is not. A smartass comment at the end of a scene in a TV show is cool. After every interview, it's annoying and condescending. On top of horrible decision-making and stat-padding. 3. Allen Iverson - Again, his personality. He was a tough dude who wouldn't back down, had an image the NBA literally made a rule to get away from and didn't go to practice. 4. Melo - Never adapted his game to how the NBA game overall changed over his career. Too much jab-stepping, overweight constantly and too much ego. 5. Kobe - Ballhog and lots of animosity with his teammates. Not exactly the nicest guy. 6. Charles Barkley - Because he didn't win, is an ignorant hick given a platform to give his dumbass opinions, and never seemed to be in shape. He used to eat hamburgers and fries before games, just didn't take good care of himself in any regard.

Most fans remember the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets version of Charles Barkley. The NBA fans of the 1980's that remember the Philadelphia 76ers version of Sir Charles remembered how heavily criticized and scrutinized he was.

When shaq is about to lose any arguments with Chuck "I got rings"
@FAlynn925 жыл бұрын
That annoys the hell out of me, and its why I don't watch Inside the NBA much anymore. Chuck could come at him with straight facts, and shaq gets mad and brags about his rings, and one time, he even grouped Kenny Smith into it & Kenny was like "what do rings have to do with this?"

I feel like part of the reason why Lebron is criticized so much for losing in the finals is his move to Miami, joining 2 all-stars, claiming they were gonna basically run the NBA for a decade and then losing again. Just think about it, if he stays with CLE and loses in the finals just as many times as he now has, the narrative is “please give this man some help” and he’s probably one of the most sympathetic figures in the league.
