my guide lines are not even an issue and one thing ive got to give is that there is always going to be a part example, such as the back of the head thats thicker naturally and some hair density with more shadow than the other and what helps for me is to go in all directions to make sure its against the grain first and your criscross technique and the one hair that just will not cut LOL will cut once cut in the direction that it grows and same with the density shadows .amazing gems eddie.

Same thing here Eddie it’s always been about time and patience and repetition getting those reps in and keep watching your videos or whoever inspires you or whatever inspires you. Will always get better you may not know it now and you might think you’re doing amazing and find out it’s not so amazing anymore. I am a master barber 💈 and I love it and what I have mastered took a long time and I am always teachable. My point here is that I draw ✍️ amazing portraits in 3 D only in pencil and when I first started drawing I thought I sucked 😂 and when I kept on drawing I just knew I sucked and then I was just drawing with guidance and techniques I’ve come across on the internet or from another artist I saw that I wanted to draw like. So I kept on doing a number of drawings and studied them for years from books and mixups of all I knew and then I started to get frustrated with myself because there was something I was missing and couldn’t understand why I’m just not getting it and even thought 💭 WOW 🤩 this is so amazing and then walked away and came back and took another look 👀 and it looked just like an alien 👽 accept I was supposed to be drawing a persons face 😂😂 and that’s when it hit me I started to see the mistakes little by little until one day of doing what I loved someone said something to me that I didn’t have an answer to and that was “CAN YOU DRAW MY SONS PICTURE AND THEN HOW MUCH WILL YOU CHARGE ME “ this was when I first started charging for my artwork I was shocked that I was good enough for someone who wanted me to draw someone for them and that’s when I realized I had skills and it came to a point to where someone asked me how do I do that and I just said I can’t even believe it myself “I don’t know “ “it just comes natural “ and it’s the same thing with barbering and being a teacher or doctor and so I share my experience with you and whoever is reading this just to say that if you keep up with your reps and watch and invest in a membership with Eddie and at KZbinbarber Academy you will get better and the results will to the point where people are going to be calling you all the time to set up appointments. Bless your dedication Eddie and coming up with another 6 phases and I agree that people should pay and learn the first steps to investing in themselves and what to invest in.

I remember asking you a couple years ago about the over lap with the .5 and 1.5 guards. You told me “yes, there was an overlap”. I asked you if you could break down in a video and you told me the overlap was so small it didn’t matter. Finally I see you do a video explaining the overlap 👏🏼👏🏼 👍

Your techniques worked for me and I’ve had a chance of putting the last 6 phases to good use and practicing the long hair shear work and I brushed up on my handling of the long hair with sections and many different styles and cuts and I’m seasoned and still it’s like riding a bike and the shear work practice is what helped me out a lot and my fades are just very good all the time and you still managed to drop 💎💎💎🌱more techniques to practice and I am always learning from your techniques and to every person that reads this message I want to let you all know keep watching and keep practicing action and you will be able to get those long hair clients and keep them in your seat as they will keep booking with you.

Always love your videos. I like how you put the base down with your basic steps. In another video I know YOU have the barber eye to see the dark spots your taking out. But if you can point to them when your making the video so we can kind of see where your looking and what we can do to take them out. And I’m glad you said that you don’t always need thinning shears. I’ve patched someone trying to use them when I shouldn’t have. Always great content Eddie thank you for your help

Thank you for this great comment. I will try to do a video where I can really point this stuff out. Not sure if you had a chance to watch that full live Cut but I did talk about that. It’s a long video. I know it is not edited. I will get on it though.

I realize this program teaches the technical/hands-on of barbering, what about the requirement of producing school certificate to state board to test for license?
@YouTubeBarberAcademy
@YouTubeBarberAcademy Жыл бұрын
That is a certification from the state of California. You can look up the requirements for each state they are different some states allow apprenticeship some do not none that I am aware of allow KZbin to teach them as a certification anyways.

my guess is you are looking in the wrong direction with what you are focusing on. Chances are your machines are not setup to help you succeed or you are leaving the head too much. Also try your best to hold the clipper flat i talk about all this with my members if you want to give it a try.

Blurry!!! Those years of teaching have given you the edge over many others in your explanation and lessons. I often say that just because someone is good at something does not mean that they can teach it. Andragogy, pedagogy and empirical activity require, for the most part, different skill sets. Think of Michael Jordan, Prince and Miles Davis. What do they have in common? All excelled at their fields of endeavor but were poor at teaching/coaching.
