@@saggypike1 Yea, but telling 1,380,951 people it is a good idea to fuck around with an angle grinder and making creative discs is not so nice. Luckaly most people are smarter then this creative guy. But for people who are as stupid as him this can end really bad. So people, take off your disk when you put your grinder away, keep the guard on and use them glasses. Was lucky a few times too much.

You people are pussies.the screws in the disc is called a tack disc that is not made anymore,it was replaced with the chain disc.The tack disc was more versatile and allowed shaping in tight Spots.Cant win if you dont play.bitchezz

Ro Dakiwag Stumpy Nubs has two videos on his accident with a chain disk. Lots of good comments; the majority view is they are inherently unsafe. OTOH, the SaberTooth rasps are supposedly very good if less aggressive and safer.

saludos amigo!!! tus proyectos son bastante buenos,,, aunque hay muchas opiniones que dicen lo contrario entre los comentarios. claro que hasta cierto punto tienen razón, y es lo que a seguridad se refiere, creo que deberías tratar con un poco mas de seguridad tus proyectos. ( recuerda que estos son vistos a nivel mundial ) y por consiguiente muchos al ver la fácil maniobrabilidad de la amoladora que tu tienes, creerán que ellos también la pueden tener, y no es asi,,, por lo menos te recomendaría mayos seguridad con la sierra de madera ya que esta en un amoladora es el arma mas mutiladora que existe!!! hay estadísticas que lo dicen hasta el 80% de los casos terminan mal,,, hay vídeos de eso, y esa es la razón por la cual las grandes compañías no las venden y no hacen modificaciones,,, de verdad te felicito por que tienes un gran ingenio, pero así como lograste buscar la idea de montar ese tipo de cosas al equipo te recomiendo que también pienses en ajustarle a la seguridad,,, como??? pues muy fácil tratar de que la amoladora quede fija como es el caso cuando la colocas a la prensa o morsa!!! de esa manera queda muy fija y se evita riesgos que se tranque el disco y "patee" (no se como le dirán en otros países) ocasionando así una posible herida saludos y de verdad espero que logres tomar las medidas de seguridad necesarias

when it kicks back it won't hit the fingers, shoulder, neck, or face is much more likely. or with the speed one of the carbide teeth could come loose and hit your eye

The first part was good, using the handle socket to create a fixed point workpiece rest. I thought it might go on from there with add-on jigs to make precision cuts and grinds. But no. No it got a lot more exciting in a - “Who needs all 8 fingers?” - sort of exciting way. The (brittle) drywall screws through the fibre disk idea. Didn’t I see something like that in the latest Festool catalogue? Or am I mistaken? And the mounting of the saw blade - with no riving knife, no guard and the typical grinder on/off switch is a genius idea; for anyone who likes the idea of a prosthetic hand.

putting a circular blade on an angle grinder is how to literally die, WHEN (not if) it kicks back the torque is very high and the depth is deep so the magnitude of the kick will send it out and up hard right into you, and it will destroy whatever part of you it strikes with no guard at all.

I had the same idea....a 4.5” saw blade spinning at 12,000 rpm... I got lucky though! It flew out of my hand, rolled across the floor and into my leg, just a few inches away from my knee cap.... and my other head 🙊😂 went about 1”-1.5” deep. Badass scar.... but chick dig scar, right!? 😳

I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read kzbin.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.
