Great video, I have a #8 Tip. I have a black sharpie for darkening my braid or leader is to make it easier application. Take razor blade and slit the end of you sharpie a pry it open slightly so your line glide inside the tip. Ps. Like your video on 2 cut fillet on wally's and Zipper method Highly recommend it. Thanks again for your time and effort in making this a successful channel.

Yes. Great one!

I do that on ALL new lures. Plus F for floater, S for suspender and SK for a sinking crank.

These all make so much sense. Thank you for sharing. I just put a sharpie in all my tackle bags.

I recommend Artline Garden Markers (about $15 for a 12 pack). I got frustrated with even the outdoor UV resistant rated Sharpie’s fading in the sun on tree tags in a few months. So I tested a couple tags side by side outside. The Garden Markers will last years. That’s at least true on plastic, can’t speak to how they’d hold up on lead underwater, but worth a shot.

@@calebwistad I fished Saturday thru Monday, lots of people, few fish. Did you get out?

You can also use it to mark your depth on your line when vertical crappie jigging

That’s a good tip!

I've done this on Steelhead spinners. Speaking of that are they moving up the Brule? Your videos are always well done and informative. Thanks.

I have too. And yes, there are fish in the Brule now but it’s been tough with the low clear water and warm temps.

Here's an awesome sharpie hack...if you have solid colored blade baits, silver/gold, etc., use red and black sharpies to color in dots on each side of those blades. Use red near the gills, and alternate red/black dots on the blade bait, you'll up your hit rate, especially when fishing for Walleye. I've done this trick over the years and it has worked extremely well for me...was skeptical at first but I've experienced the results firsthand.

I’ll have to try it!

I worry about if fish can smell a lure freshly marked with a Sharpie. I rather do it the day before fishing so the smell dissipates. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Not a bad idea if you have the time!

The “Neon” sharpie colors are UV colors and much more visible in stained water.
