I’ve been using a lube shuttle for the last few months. Best grease gun I’ve ever used. I always loop the tip back into the opening on the rear for storing. No mess!!!

I’ve been using Lube Shuttle for close to five years. There’s nothing better that I’ve been able to find and don’t intend to keep looking. I will admit that I prefer the LockNLube couplers to those offered by Lube Shuttle but both work well. If anyone has equipment that requires greasing, Lube Shuttle is a must have for easy and convenient use.

I have two of the Lube Shuttles (LS) and one of the Lock'n'Lube (LNL) manual guns. Definitely like the LS better, although I replaced the fittings with LNL locking fittings, which I like a little better. There's one thing I wish LS would do, and that's add a zerk fitting on the gun itself to lock the hose to for storage. The LNL has this, and it's nice to keep the hose from flopping around into the dirt, and gives you a loop to hang the gun. I did have two of the LS tubes have the plug in the bottom fall out when I left them hanging for a while. Nearly full tubes, and a big mess. Now I generally leave them stored upside down or on their sides to make sure that doesn't happen again,

I bought two grease gun kits, one with a 10 pack of MoS2 grease and one with a 10 pack of the G200 EP grease. Tractor Time with Tim has a video where he interviewed a grease expert in Germany and he recommended the MoS2 grease for high load, low rpm applications like loaders, tie rods and 3 pt hitches. He recommended the G200 EP for high rpm applications like PTO shafts and mowers/bush hogs. The ROCKHILL promo code saved me a lot of money!

I was just looking at these the other night. I started with a pistol grip grease gun then to air power and now to a Milwaukee 12v grease gun. Use it at home and at work. This system your showing here would be more ideal at work. We could definitely benefit from it at work refilling the tubes.

That looks like a fantastic system, I go through a lot of grease maintaining oilfield pumping units.

That 90 fitting would be great for mower deck. When it’s on tractor. It’s hard to get that middle pully on deck.

Home Depot had ryobi battery kit for 99 dollars with free gift which the grease gun was an option. I’m really surprised I didn’t see any channels pointing out that deal.

Heya Brock, great review, I use the Dewalt cordless right now. Was really looking at this unit - in the end it was the availability of the tubes for it in Canada that made me settle for the Dewalt. With all of those extensions, plus having the Dewalt yourself, I'd like to ask your preferred method to reach to and grease that annoying hydraulic ram they have anchored in that cutout beside the boom arm in the middle of your skid steer. On my 320G its a real pain to reach, and its a struggle to put enough pressure on it at that angle so grease doesnt just shoot out the side and leave a third of the tube laying in the frame. I had a locking style connector that I tried to use there, after some effort to line it up and get it on there, it didn't want to come off after it was under pressure. Stopped using that locking head for all the times it jams on the nipple when its under heavy pressure. I went back to using just the standard deere grease gun connector becuase it doesn't jam on the nipples when its under pressure. I've seen operators raise the whole cab of that skid steer just to get to those annoying zerks.. do you have a preferred method or adapter to access them? Thanks again for the video!

Another advantage to a powered gun or the locking adapter is for older people who may no longer have the hand strength or a little ARTHUR creeping into fingers.👍

Howdy Brock! I need you to give me a job so I can afford some of this stuff 😁 I have the worst luck with grease guns. I really like the simplicity of these systems. I'll put them on my 'look at later' list for when I'm in the market. And hey! I thought this was a family channel... 9:24 😁Sorry, my inner 4th grader runneth over😂 Thanks for sharing 🤠

If they make one that works with my Milwaukee batteries, I'm in. Until then, I won't add another battery ecosystem with VERY limited applications.

Whats the best grease for using on a jet ski trailer?

I’m no expert on the different types of grease. Since it’s going to be occasionally submerged, I might think about getting a marine grease. They have a lot of information on their website.

This is definitely on my wish list, my son is a contractor and a big Milwaukee fan. He bought me a Milwaukee electric grease gun and it works great but the tube thing is a bummer. Hey Brock what's your opinion about the front drive shaft on those 2032r/ 2038r tractors to grease? My fitting is always in the wrong place when I park, I finally put a paint mark on the drive shaft so I know where it's at.

So no store I have ever been in have I ever seen a grease tube with threads like this and I go through a lot of grease . So I can’t see an advantage for me . And I have battery grease guns . I can’t say I don’t like that but I just don’t think it’s for me .

Good evening Brock. I'm late today. It's bear hunting season here in Pa. and I just got a chance to see today's video. I'll need to show this video to my wife since she saw me spend about 2hrs. greasing the fittings on the driveshaft on myJohn Deere 2305. 😁😁 Anyway, God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂

Where does all the used grease go? No seriously! After it breaks down from use, does some evaporate? The rest would fall on the ground and contaminate your field and such otherwise! Maybe so little it's insignificant? But even my TYM T-25 still goes through a tube every 8-16 hours. That adds up! I've never looked into what's in these different greases, now i have to go dig up some MSDS's!
@RockhillfarmYT Жыл бұрын
I think the majority is pumped out when you add new grease. Some but also squeezes out during use. In a perfect world, you’re wiping all of that off of the zirks and wherever it comes out
@michaelhess4825 Жыл бұрын
@@RockhillfarmYT I sure do wipe a lot off, but I can't imagine I get it all. Just a random weird thought!

Nope. That’s no different then any other hand squeezing GG. Buy battery operated; stick with a well known readily available brand with many different products in its lineup. In my case a Dewalt with L&L tip. Without a locking tip, grease gets wasted regardless and is just as messy I’m sure the cartridges are more expensive too. Oh and that 1 true negatives is a huge one considering you can’t use that system without their proprietary cartridges and/or the refill system. I do recognize no batteries would be a negative but you could still use the grease in a squeeze style. If I were to spend that kind of money I’d by a grease gun of a brand I’m already married to. Or as I did bought a DeWalt as Bosch doesn’t make a GG. NO DOWN SIDE; In summary ; go buy a brand that has many different tools and is sold in your area (Dewalt in my case) The true upside is, battery availability one handed operation and many other tools to fit those batteries, etc etc. just my thoughts. I still keep the old squeeze type for the apocalypse.
