Postinor 2 should be taken within 72hrs of unprotected sex so since u are within 72hrs it will work depending on whether the lady has already ovulated or not

@@godstimematthew6985 it depends on when your fertile period is.lets assume your period started first September and ended 5th September and your next period start on 1st October that means u have a 30 day cycle.in this cycle your ovulation period is likely around 2weeks to your next period meaning around 16th or 17th September.if u took postinor on the 17th of September which is when you were ovulating and had unprotected sex,postinor won't work.so postinor works by delaying the release of egg to fertilise the sperm so if u have already released the egg then the sperm will fertilise it and u become pregnant.so ovulation =length of menstrual cycle -14.so if u took postinor when already ovulating it won't work
