Hi, Inna, thank you so much for your video, especially I now have a TFCC tear and unable to shift or vibrate.

Oh no... I'm so sorry to hear Jeong! Are you able to work with a specialist for this?

@@Violinna Yes, I saw an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist. And a cortisone shot helped me for about a week but then it is back to pain. But that is expected as the doctor said other than time, only a brace and a prescription-strength Ibuprofen would alleviate the pain. But it seems like I did not damage anything permanently so now I have a perfect excuse why I cannot practice. Thank you so much for your video! I love your newsletter, too.

Please i have a challenge, probably due to the hard shoulder rest I’ve previously used, i noticed the muscles(middle trapezius I suppose)on my left shoulder has pressed in and looks irregular compared to my right shoulder, am i the only one with this experience? It’s driving me nuts 😭
@Violinna2 жыл бұрын
I bet you're not the only one with this problem - would definitely look into a setup change if that's what caused it - and remember, setup is shoulder rest/pad AND chinrest combination.. for some folks, a higher chin rest means no more shoulder rest needed and just some anti-slip like a magic pad, but it's best to get a custom fit with a professional for that. A lot of shoulder rests lock up the left side.. sould be good to check with a PT to work on mobilization of your mid-back
