1. Use the 90:10 rule. Look for those 10% things that give 90% return on investment of time energy resources. 2. Never leave dirty dishes "soaking". Leave your kitchen in order and ready to use, clear for your clear state of mind. 3. Build systems not goals. Your systems make your goals happen. Not just "I hope to invest someday" but save that 10% off the top every time. 4. Eat for fuel. Be mindful of the impact of each type of item you eat and drink. 5. Say No to most of the opportunities that come along, preserving your t/e/r for what counts. 6. Sign up for scary things that move you further toward what you're on. Get registered for a conference, put the money down, get coaching, make use of accountability.

I see well meaning people do this and then people don’t watch the video. It’s great for AFTER watching the video but if people look at the list and go “ oh, now I don’t need to watch it because I get the main point right here”, the creator loses views and watch hours as well as the viewer truly misses the meat of the content. While the listing of the 6 items is helpful as a reminder, he says a lot of important things that are not in this list.

@@TarotTarot1 For me these summaries are very helpful to stay focused during the video because then I know what will come next. If I don't have a summary I would cancel the video. I think I have ADHD or something and I am very thankful when there are these summaries in the comments.

@@TarotTarot1 It is another tool under your belt. I'd say you should: ¬Watch the vídeo. ¬Take notes and research(if needed) ¬Compare your notes with these summaries. Stay sharp and focused 💪😊

Hi Gabe. I'm a woman, and quite a good deal older than you, but I wanted to say that it's encouraging to me to see such a young person with this amount of self awareness. This kind of thinking eventually comes to most people, but typically not until much later in life--when the time to implement the ideas is more limited. From my perspective (at 70) I think, wouldn't it be great if more people could become aware of the fleeting nature of time and realize they won't be young forever? The concepts you've outlined are good for anyone and if realized during YOUNG adulthood, how much better their lives would be. BTW, I've been in the 'don't leave dirty dishes' club for years. Drives me crazy to wake up to a mess in the kitchen!

I was consistently racing the clock to get to work on time, despite waking up 3 hours before hand. I started packing my lunch for work the night before, instead of the morning of, and now I am consistently 10 to 15 minutes early. I feel ahead of the game! It wasn’t until I watched your video that I realized how much this small shift impacted my day. I will now look at other areas of my life that need tweaking. Thank you!!

That’s what I do for the gym. Put my shoes by the door, leave a shaker with pre workout and a bottle bottle on the counter (so I just have to add water), and on the extreme end, I get dressed in clean gym clothes before bed. Wake up at 5-530am, go drink the pre workout, grab the bottle, shoes on by the door and I’m out. Def helped me have a consist gym routine. The easier you make a good habit, the more likely you are to do it.

Definitely agree with having a system based approach vs a goal approach. A goal in the end is just a dream. A system is the vehicle that will get you to that goal. Love this video Gabe! 👊

Corollary to #2: "Don't put it down, put it AWAY". It's easy to set something down just wherever when you are done with it. Take a sec to put it where it belongs. Everything should have a home within your home.

Committing to something scary is the hardest one for me. As a stay at home mom I don't like the idea of spending extra money on things especially if that thing isn't going to produce income. I build systems naturally. I've always had an on-going thrift donations box so our home collects less clutter. When it's full, I take it to donation center I never understood why some people keep everything. This made me realize they have no system established to get rid of unused items.

Another habit I've dropped into recently is at least 20 minutes of cardio/HIIT in the mornings as part of my morning routine, and I feel more zest for life and power to move in my day to day. I was in a long term relationship with someone who had depression. It wasn't the depression that broke us. It was their unwillingness to do anything about it, see a doctor, commit to treatment, even though it was destroying our relationship. Leaving was one of the hardest things I have ever done. But in the end it was the only way I could take care of myself.

*Never let one failure from the past hold you back in the future* 👉🏻 *MUST READ FOR YOU* “As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not. He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. ‘Well,’ trainer said, ‘when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.’ The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.” *I LOVE YOU* 💝❤️
